Mallory helped Lyle find his way to the room after he almost fell asleep. He would have made some mention of how he shouldn't have drank but he felt it was partly his fault for letting it happen. He helped Lyle down into the bed and lied down on the other side spending a few hours browsing the web before finally deciding sleep may be a good idea considering how close he was to passing out anyway.

USEC_OFFICER wonders how Mallory managed to get a wi-fi connection in the Middle Ages.

Mallory quickly remembers cell towers don't exist yet and instead just falls asleep, only to be interrupted by ICARUS's alarm, "I swear to god, someone is going to die if that alarm doesn't shut off." It eventually does turn off to which he sighs happily to. That is, until soldiers start stomping around and yelling, "Fuck it, sleep is for queers anyway." He mumbles angrily as he gets up from the bed and goes outside.

[Twi]

Bismuth nods and goes.

Marie is already on the prowl, of course, shadowing from the trees as per usual.

[SOLDIER First]

Lyle somehow wakes up.
"I musht have drunken too much."

He goes somewhere for an explanation.

[GreatWyrmGold]

Alistair sighs.
"I just....I like you, Angel, as a friend, okay?"

Angel mumbles back.


Will tries to ignore the soldiers. He fails.
Fun fact: Will's power makes him a bit of a light sleeper.

"Trail detected, decaying rapidly. Requesting immediate backup."

ICARUS follows the trail.
Hainuwele follows ICARUS.

Bismuth nods and goes.

Marie is already on the prowl, of course, shadowing from the trees as per usual.

ICARUS et al. blunder into the forest, searching for the creature.

They find absolutely no sign of the creature, however, and the trail soon goes cold.

An armoured knight stops Mallory from leaving, "Are you sure you want to go out without armour? Some manner of fell beast is about."

He goes somewhere for an explanation.

Explanation: Lyle drank too much. He does manage to stumble over to Mallory and the knight, however.

A knight cries out, "Did you find the creature?"

"What'sh going on? Wh-what creachure?"

The knight shakes its head, "One of your companions heard some foul beast running its claws against the walls of the castle. It left before we could see what creature it was, but it left its hideous mark against our walls. You should not leave the safety of the castle, in case the creature returns."

Marie hangs around a while to see if she can't find anything by the will of the RNG gods.

[ROLL: 50] Marie finds... Well, she finds the creature's droppings, to put it bluntly.

((Answer: It is now nighttime, and the party is at Genovefa's castle, which they decided to spend the night at after meeting her in the forest. There was a big feast and everything. Lots of fun. Obviously Catharine and Lucas joined the feast. Also, ICARUS just woke everyone up in the middle of the night because of some creature that left gouges in the castle walls. Anything else you need to know?))

Lyle promptly goes back to his room.
Not having any of this diddlydoo.

The knight nods, "Do you think it'll come again?"

Lucas calmly waits, not sure what to do regarding the beast outside. After a while, he drifts off to sleep a bit.
Catherine has transformed back into her normal form, and looks relatively refreshed from it.
