Marie grabs Kelyn and leads her forward. Or back to the camp, if camp needs to be packed up. Hmm.

The camp has been packed up long ago. Nowhere to go but forward.

"They said that about the orks, the Rigelians, the oni, the Q9, the funestis gladius, the...well, the list goes on and on, but it's only true for one in a hundred. The rest, you're just judging from a too-small sample or a biased viewpoint. Tell me, how many dog-men have you met that you didn't try to kill?"

"None, but it's hard to hold a conversation when they're trying to put an axe in your head."

Tobias enters after the combat.
"Hey gu- Oh, you finished them."

"Hmpfh. You took your time. Not that we needed you."

Kyle shrugs.

Bethany is still staring at the ground, steadfastly refusing to look at the carnage around her.

Tobias just chills as a shadow... it's not like anyone wanted to talk to him.

"Kelyn... please trust me on this when I say that It would be best to avoid fights."

Bethany is still staring at the ground, steadfastly refusing to look at the carnage around her.

The carnage soon disappears behind a bend in the path as the party moves onwards.

"Kelyn... please trust me on this when I say that It would be best to avoid fights."

Kelyn shoots Kyle a look, "We were winning though. Easily."

Tobias walks a fair bit in front of the group. Well, in his shadow-form at least.

"Stabbing babies is easy. Does that mean you don't want to avoid it?"

"This falls back into the 'small subset of population' thing. What do you think the dog-people would think of humans if the only humans they saw were bandits and soldiers?"

"No? I fail to see how the two are related though."

"The same as I do right now is no doubt the point you're aiming at. But the situation isn't reversed, and I haven't slaughtered any of their friends and family."

As Tobias gets closer, he hears the tinkling of bells and the sounds of horns.

"But it's the same reasoning you're using for continuing to fight them."

"And? Babies don't rob and murder."

Marie grabs Kelyn. Then dopeslaps her.

Kelyn grumbles, "What do you think I'm doing."
