And then he shrugs dismissively.

And then he briefly notifies Nico and Catherine of the situation.

Marten's shoulders suddenly sag, all of the fight suddenly out of him. "I don't care. I just want my daughter back, safe and sound."

Ester bites her lip and looks outside, where everybody is gathered.
