Grandfather Clause. As of Ashley's 'death', the timer was defined as a few days. The timer change should take place after her NEXT 'death'.

Aren't people not supposed to die in this game anyway?

Yes and no. I do have a system for reviving teammates from incapacitation but not permadeath. Basically, you die in incapacitation, you die FOREVER.

As for Ashley's thing, the timer already existed.


She has to heal having a spear through her chest and stomach.


This takes about a week, give or take.

yeah, that's a kinda lore that people can and should explore in-game. afterall, they've been hiding in isolation for long enough that not much is left than a few pieces of folklore here and there that mention tiny people. Most cultures have such stories. Nobody besides them really know much about fingerlings. If anyone actually cares, they can just confront Hainuwele about it.

I may or may not expand the lore regarding the origin and purpose of a certain thing I mentioned in a plot-outline, but that is spoiler-heavy for the OOC thread until that plot is done with. I've had some lore discussion with Ragnarok, as he said he's in charge of lore regarding the void/generaly stuff from outside of creation. He approved of certain stuff, so I guess once my plot rolls around, it will bring a good chunk of lore alongside it, which may or may not become the groundwork for many of my plots in the future

I don't get the logic. "Kyle blows up Hai's 3D gear" -> "Hai gets Kyle's stuff when he dies"? There's something missing in the middle. Possibly the part where small needles somehow pierce thick powered armor. And the part where people agree that murder is an acceptable response to blowing up your new toy that he made.

So, @Elf, Ashley's current revive timer is still a day or so, due to a grandfather clause correct? It would be unfair to punish her for a decision @Ragnarok made whilst assuming it wouldn't have caused any significant issues.

I'm considering taking out the revive timer, taking into account the fact that I have NOTHING on their lore. I'll let it slide, for now.

In fact, Emp, Twi, Kj, I want your various pieces of lore some time this week, so I can reconcile it with mine. Tell rag and anyone else with significant lore I want those as well.

If you target something, and it becomes untargetable, you waste your action.

And that doesn't change the fact you still fucked up. Grands action didn't make it untargetable until everyone else had a turn.

it was already pointed out that due to Grands very very low Dex, he should have acted way later than he actually did, meaning the paintification would have happened *after* Seles got pummeled by almost half a dozen attacks
