Akroma's a girl.

Also, we should try a doubles tournament.

And if possible, a doubles, but with four people participating in each match.

I would say send the numbers, cause the voting and such will be moderately time consuming.

I am not sure a 4-person shuffle works on this site

Alas, I knew that but typed the wrong pronoun. Sorry about that.

As far as I know, Showdown won't allow more than one controller per team at the moment. (Though they're working on it.)

Also, should we use the thing or just pick our favorites?

Because it'll eventually match up favorites to favorites, and as was seen, that's not always accurate if it just eliminates it.

My favorite's Camerupt, and Drifblim and Arcanine are close behind, but if it matches them up...

EDIT: Also I keep screwing up and double clicking or not checking the other one.

well, for now we will continue with monotype, after that the themes, and even after that the letters

unless of course you wish to organise your own tournaments parallel to mine, in that case your rules

..that seemed mildly passive aggressive.

So we're doing themes, not favorites, I take it?

favourites didnt seem very popular. also, not passive aggressive, but in the hope that I wouldn't have to organise everything

Ah. I could run some tourneys, organizing and such, if you would be willing to do Bracket pics. I'm not good with images.

Competitive Pokemon, or running tournaments? I've only run a couple small-time gaming tournaments, but I've been playing Pokemon for a while. I've been dabbling since 2009 or so, but started actually doing tournaments and laddering about a year ago. I've done a few thousand ladder matches, a dozen tournaments or so (haven't won any yet!), and hung out on the Smogon forums for a while. My specialty is definitely NU, but I know enough theory about OU to do alright at it. I like to play offense and hyper offense teams, but I've done balanced teams and can tell you basically how stall works. If you want help, I can probably teach you something. I am not the greatest battler, but I like to think I do alright.
