You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Arr! I be a bit premature. "Fox", ye need to post a real action! There not be much to roll forr in just talkin' to the cap'n.

The rest o' the turn be typed up an' ready, though, just waitin' on ye.

Turn 3 - Preparing for Adventure

Head into town one more time, buy the pistol, then find a back alley, pull up a flagstone, and dump half my cash in. Then go buy a diamond or other jewel with the rest. Head back to the boat.
After buyin' yer antiquated pistol,(3) Ye find a convenient barrel to stow the cash in, though yer not sure if it'll be moved. Then,(4) ye manage to find a wee diamond exchangeable fer most o' yer coin. Hopefully no'un needs to borrow some o' that, but ye head back ter the ship, confident they don't.

Swipe the supplies I can get, buy the rest. If I have enough money left over, buy a nice dagger for digging bullets out of bullet wounds, and brains out of boarders heads.
Lookin' fer some more medicinal odds n' ends, (1) ye learn that ye've got a life-threatening case o' the sticky-fingers. (5) Fortunately, no one recognizes yer face and ye manage to get what yer lookin' fer, cheap.
-3 jars o' quinine
-1 barrel o' Cod Liver Oil
-1 jar Tincture of Opium
-1 jar Medicinal Spirits (181-proof Vodka)
This leaves ye enough money (5) ter get yerself a genuine stiletto. The wider hilt an' reinforcement on the blade makes it a right fine parryin' dagger, too.

Aww rrright!  Now that I 'ave me a fine weapon and some morrre gold, I visit a cerrrtain pet emporrrium and inquire 'bout a good seafarin' companion.  A parrot orr tame rat would do.  Afterr all, any respectin' pirate has a companion, and I be havin' to look imporrrtant as the diplomat.
(6) No sooner do ye think this than ye spy a right beauteous bird in the market. It looks a bit morose, perched on the knobbly walkin' stick of an old, wrinkled lady wearin' lotso queer bone jewelry. She sits behind a little crate, the words "Bits n' Bobs" painted on all crude-like, but sells ye the bird fer practically nothin' - maybe not to surprisin' given the name o' her stall. Much te yer surprise, the bird immediately greets ye with "Sunnuvabitch!"

"That's not all 'e says," the old bag spouts rather quick. "G'wan, no refunds."

The bird seems to look at ye a bit pleadin', an ye notice it's got a big scar on it's breast. Well, maybe a bit damaged, but it looks smart enough. Yer sure it'll be good fer difusin' the tension, a'least. It seems almost relieved as ye walk away with it.

Ah look for good prices for tha missing supplies an' equipm'nt
The ship had near almost ever'thin' but yer still short some tar, or at least glue, fer caulkin' with. (2) Sadly, ye don't find anythin' about town at a reasonable price. (4) A hammer, saw, an' pry bar be much easier fare ter get, though. (5) Bein' a considerate soul, especially fer supplies needed for yer survival at sea, ye check a bit fer what th' Capn' couldn't find.
-(3) Ye manage to secure 3 barrels o' raw pork. Won't last long if yer crewmates don't do anythin' about that, but 3 barrels o' food is 3 barrels o' food.
-(4) Ye tie some o' the copious pile o' rope aboard into enough hammoks fer the rest o' the crew.

I be returnin' me wares to me ship, n' lookin' fer me trusty boardin' axe.
Ye get the muskets, silver musket-shot, an' new floggin' cat aboard, (3) as well as yer single, worn trusty boardin' axe. It's p'raps due fer some sharp'nin' 'afore ye set sail.

I'll take the hat! Also I shall look for any weapon befitting a hatted man like I.

Takin' the grand hat, ye redouble yer efforts to find a weapon with some class. (6) What ye thought in the last shop was merely a stick, which ye could'ne believe were offered when ye asked fer a sword, actually is a sword. It be hidden within a fine silver-tipped cane, drawn by pullin' on the handle. The cane itself be ebony, with a handle carved in ivory in the likeness of an eagle. Ebony wood an' silver be harrd enough, so ye don't even 'av ter draw. There's some might say it not be the most prractical o' weapons, but they mustn't appreciate style much.

Look around the city for any more shops an' such ter see if I can still get me some gear.
(3) Ye find a dead sailor in the gutter an' take his stuff:
-2 flintlock pistols
-1 pouch Powder an' shot
-1 belaying pin.

Go an get a nice piratey hat. With lots o' secret pockets fer loot.
(4) Ye find a great big hat w' 3 corners an' a wee drawer in the back. (5) Upon purchase, ye find the drawer already 'as some drink inside. What's more shopkeep said he'd had the hat on th' shelf fer five years now, an' more like than not, the booze's been in there the whole time!

Seems ye may nearly be ready to leave! A bit more food might be in order, though. Mind ye, the GM hisself can be forgetful.

KJ:
Ye might want to add ter yer action.

Notice: If ye search fer somethin' at market in one turn, then the result the dice give ye is something ye can pay fer or otherwise acquire. Ye need only take it, no roll required, 'less ye want ter keep lookin', then ye'd roll again ter find it. Course, there's only so many times ye can double-check a market an' still expect to find somethin' ye missed.

It'd be a long, painful RTD if a (5) show'd ye a real nice object but ye roll a (2) fer whether or not ye can pay for it. No sir, we're not doin' that here.

Arrr, did I grab the loot from before? If not, go get those cheap supplies before someone else grabs them! Otherwise, try and find a dove t' be me avian assistant.

EDIT: Make aye I have a table suitable for lyin' me fellow pirates on while I be treatin' them. If I don't be havin' a table, find one before we ship off!

(What you guys think if I put some o' that grog into t' water barrels?)

181-proof Vodka? Maybe ye'd be best off borrowin' from First Mate Squidbeard.
