In the distance you can see clouds and strange wheeling birdlike creatures. Below you the cavern floor is obscured by odd flora, but what you can see suggests ruins and broken masonry. Beside you Sandy shivers, a chill wind buffeting you both.

Additionally, temporarily change in to his clothes.He didn't have any money or guns on him, but you pull on his kevlar and uniform pretty quickly. As you do so you notice that his skin is covered in red and green splotches, as well as growths and tumours.

Keep flyingYour evasive maneuvers work for a while, keeping the enemy from blasting a hole in you, but you fail to see a tower ahead that smashes into your wing. Luckily, the VTOL automatically ejects you and the resulting flight deposits you onto a roof while the pilots come back around to blast you to hell.

Absorb this stuff into my mechs with the power of the dark gods, making it bigger. Search for more metal. Repeat.Your mech quickly grows in size, gaining an almost organic look to it as it does so. Before long you've torn every bit of metal you can find and you head to the only place you can think of for more. You head back into the power plant.
You know what it is you want, and begin to dig into the collapsing structure. After a couple of hours you uncover your prize; the remaining uranium and plutonium. The pain as you absorb the fissionable material is immense, but you fight through it and quickly incorporate it. The engine at the centre of the mech expands and uses the fuel, becoming far more powerful. The remaining pieces lance through you, affixing you to the mech even more.

Sir, I don't think you understand. The thaumagraphs are going off the charts and the entire city has been sealed off. We can't send anyone in, even if we wanted to!I don't care damnit! Open the dome if you have to, just get us some eyes in there! We've got at least a dozen foreign dignitaries lost in the city, not to mention tourists! I'M BACK WITH A PLOT! Sorry about getting muted and all my thanks to Xantalos for letting you guys know. He also knows some stuff about whats going on with others, I'd prefer it if he didn't say anything. Since I wrote this a while ago now, I don't have the rolls, so at the least this will be easier to read than usual. Hope you enjoy it.
P.S. I made some... mystery rolls for you all. Xant knows what one of effects on one of you is, but he is not to breathe a word of it.
