Yup, see title - I'm thinking about asking out that Spanish girl from my semester. Real cute, and I've gotten to know her quite well in the past two or three months.
Bay12, you have until 11:30. Get voting ;)

Arguably he's already a progressive, just one in the style of an enlightened Kaiser.
I'm going to do the smart thing here and disengage. This isn't a hill I paticularly care to die on.

If it does, the hilarity of this thread will be more than enough to compensate ;)

My policy on these matters is to always try things out, so you know my vote.

I approve of this topic.

. . .

I'm not voting because I suspect that you'll do what you want to do either way, and what you really want is to open yourself up to community support.  And because I'm a tool.

I hope you're both very happy.

Before you view the results tonight, ask yourself, what do you want them to say? Then, find a florist.

With only this thread as context, I say ask her. What's the worst that could happen? Her crime boss father discovers that you are hitting on her, and reports this to the family of her fiance, whom he has arranged for her to marry since birth in order to cement an alliance between the two powerful, ruthless clans? Or, even worse, she could say no?

If the question boils down to: I ant to, but am afraid," then go for it. If it boils down to "I am not sure she is right for me, or vice versa," then go for it - you'll find out if your a match. If the question, on the other hand is along the lines of "I have a lot of issues I need to work out before I am fit for society, and she likes to set things on fire," then I would say, perhaps you should wait a while. Why add burdens to a life already too complicated? Strive, in that case, to become happy, content, or at least resigned to live with yourself, before expecting another person to do the same.

Good luck, and God Bless.

If she's a lady of high class, you might want to try channeling a spirit animal.

Please note that I was impatient and voted after just reading the title and the question "Should I?" and answered no, you shouldn't ask Bay12 to make your decisions for you.

For the matter of asking her out, you shouldn't ask Bay12 to make your decisions for you. That being said, go for it.

Now you have to make all your relationship decisions based on B12 polls.

My normal procedure :D
Seriously not going simply by the voting result - I'm planning on, let's say, taking it into my considerations ;)
