It/its, they/them, in order of preference.

Not gay as in happy, queer as in fuck you.

Go make some food.

On the way to the kitchen, you pass a long table with fifteen girls on the table, they are in the same order as the graves on the road, meaning that they are in chronological order, Rena was the third.

When you try to find something, upon opening the cabinet where you assumed plates would be, a variety of toys fall out, you try to ignore them, and open another, this one has plates, and you put some cooked food on them, three.

Take it up stairs and try not to think about what we saw.

You take the plate upstairs to Rena and the girl, and the three of you eat. Rena manages to stand up and throw out her plate, she nearly blacks out when she first tries though, and her walking is visibly stiff and uncomfortable.

Cutscene Time!
After about three days, Rena's condition greatly improved because of the fact that she had numerous minor injuries, rather than one major. She walks around just fine, with only minor pain, though it could be worse than she says and acts like it is, she tends to hide her pain.

Get her alone and ask her to tell us if she really is as good as she seems.

The girl leaves yours and Rena's room
"Do you swear you're okay"
"Does it matter? If we don't move soon, the N.U.S.A. will start to think that we aren't fulfilling the deal"

Your group of three start to leave, pass the graveyard, and after about a week of traveling, you approach the country line, and leave the N.U.S.A, and enter the country of Westland (but still in Grassland)
"Once we cross into Westland, we are wanted criminals, so don't interact with any soldiers that aren't N.U.S.A., don't talk to them and hope they don't recognize us"
