Would you guys prefer I pull out a ranger? Or should I make him and then see what you guys prefer?

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

Well Doom, we have no idea how many players there are going to be let in or *ahem* if the game is going to start when Remuthra comes back. Though I have faith!

And I believe you should make the character you want :P
Rangers are cool, tho. Gotta have somebody for those spot and listen checks...

Or for shooting the enemies before our melee people can even get close. Rapid Shot is fun. But yeah, here's some stats. I'll make both, then choose which one I prefer.

Should make whatever you want Doomblade.

You calling me a stinking Gargun Dwarmin?!?

Hah, but yes. Unfortunate that I do not have said monster HD. Or perhaps that is a good thing in the long run if the GM allows me to use LA buy off and then does the extra work (or trusts me to do it!) that would eventually catch me back up. Since after all, a monster HD is forever one less cleric level.

Anyway, I could certainly fit my backstory into the same area you came from D if you want us to know each other previously. All I need is a mountain and my dude can pretty much come from anywhere.

I would have more, but I need confirmation and/or denial about the weapons and/or feats before I can choose my feats.

If we run an aquatic campaign...I dunno man. I'll need to find an aquatic race, first off...

I would be pretty cool with a ship based campaign. But uh. If we have any say in it at all, which I sorta doubt, I would vote against a actual full on aquatic campaign. For purely selfish reasons of course. But my dude would... Not work under water. If the campaign does turn out to be aquatic I think honestly it would be best for me to make a new character. I mean, there is something to be said for working around limitations and finding a way and blah blah blah. But at a certain point you just gota give up trying to learn to swim in full plate and go back to your mountain.

I do have a water human race dude that I made for a aquatic game that never went forward though. He could be fun. Or I could reuse my desert elf guy I made that one time for a game that never went forward. That would be harder, but more hilarious.

Well, you could just grab waterbreathing and walk along the ocean floor. That said, I do see your point. Besides, aquatic characters work for naval campaigns, but not so vise-versa.

I could attach myself with ropes to sharks and the other characters could hang bloody meat to where I want to go.

Hmmm. At least a couple of us will be getting animal companions at some point, so we could probably skip the meat. That would be pretty awesome, actually. The mental images in my head are... Aha, oh wow.
Still, Naval Campaign is probably best.

Of course, who know where we will end up. I think the only thing we know at this point is we start at a port city. For all we know we could immediately head off into the mainland and never see the sea again.

Yeah, that's why I asked where other potential players want to go. After all, if everyone else wants to go chill in the desert and I build a fishperson... Well.
