"You hate violence don't you? I shouldn't have threatened them, I shouldn't have done anything... I guess I could have just stood between them or something cliched like that..."

Angel enters Lyle's mind and starts yelling in it to wake him up.

Selina tries to pull the blade out while still talking to Victoria.

"Y-yes I hate it... b-b-but its sometimes necissary... i-i-if you fully need to... I-if you had stepped b-between them... y-y-you'd have died... i-i-instead of s-solving the problem... Pl-pl-please don't be sad... pl-please..." Selina sounds very worried.

[Empiricist]

"If I'm not sad about it, I'll just be bitter... and I don't want you to see me bitter..."
The blade slowly inches out of the streetlight before easily being extracted from Victoria's sternum. The wound left behind is a replication of the wound that had been created in Darnos.

[RangerCado]

"O-okay then... b-b-be sad... but l-let me help you... y-y-you don't have to b-be sad alone..." Selina hugs Victoria tightly, trying to help her calm down.

[SOLDIER First]

Predictably, Lyle jerks awake, almost flattening Max and Catherine.
"All right, all right, geez!
I'm awake! What do you need, anyway?"

[Empiricist]

"I've killed people... good people who were just trying to do something good... I can mope about it all I want... I can dedicate my entire mental landscape to them... but nothing will bring them back... or make me feel remorse... and I'm scared... that I'll do something like that again... but not under orders... but because I made a decision to... *sigh* ...freewill is so troublesome..."

[RangerCado]

"Yes... y-yes it is... but it helps us do gr-great things... w-we made a f-family... we helped stop a w-world from being destroyed... w-w-we've made life in s-s-several ways... Freewill is more helpful t-to good people than bad... a-a-and your a good person Victoria... a-a-a good mother... a good wife..." Selina holds her comfortingly.

[Empiricist]

Victoria gestures to the graves. "Freewill didn't help them." The bitter remark surprises herself and soon she breaks back down into tears.

[RangerCado]

"V-victoria... y-y-your not the old you... y-y-you don't just k-kill because you can... y-you killed because that was... w-w-was all you knew... b-but now you know more... i-i-isn't that enough... t-t-to know when and when n-not to do something...?" Selina gently wipes away her tears.

[Empiricist]

"No... I already knew far more than killing... and yet I chose to kill..."

[RangerCado]

"Please Victoria... I... I c-can't see you like this..." Selina begins to choke up... when suddenly, 5 more Selina's appear, each in different colored outfits. They all hug Victoria as well, the personalities all. Grey was a bit forceful, Green a bit reserved, and Blue very child-like about it, but they all hugged her. Together.

[Empiricist]

"Okay... please leave then, I'll wake up shortly... it might take  a while longer if the conditioning breaks me for a bit... but... at least this won't happen again... hurting myself is fine if it's just to damage me until I can't feel sad... right?"

[RangerCado]

"No... f-feeling sad is okay... b-b-but don't do that... n-not that... i'lll l-let you decide but... pl-please don't..." The Selina's all give Victoria a light kiss before leaving.

Selina holds Victoria's unconscious body closely, trying not to cry.

After a few minutes, Victoria's eyes snap open, she still seems quite melancholic though.
