"Maybe. Maybe not. They're resourceful, at least."

"Well shit, that leaves us with two options... either we dive in as well and kill everything that gets in our way until we find them and figure out how to return, or we try closing off the portal and returning them fro the outside even though we can't even look at it safely. Neither option is very favorable."

[Twi]

"I can figure as much from your tone of voice alone."

[Empiricist]

"Any idea as to whether we can send supplies through?"

[Twi]

"I think we can throw things through, yeah."

[Empiricist]

"Okay, that's something at least... now it's a question of whether or not they receive it..."

[Twi]

"How should I know? Who knows what's on the other side?"

[Empiricist]

"Yeah, that's an issue... unless... hmm... the Academy keeps lesser monsters in its basement for training purposes... we should be able to incapacitate a few and drug them before strapping equipment to them, when they wake up, they'll hunt down people, preferably students... of course, they'll be drugged to reduce their risk to magic users, that way if they don't appear near the people, they'll actively hunt them down and presumably get killed."

[Twi]

"The chance of backfirin' is obvious, but it sounds like it could work. Hmmm... Do you folks have summons and such that you could bring home remotely?"

"Madeleine perhaps? She can create constructs but I am unsure of whether they can pass through... it's worth a try though. I'll go contact Artie, see if he can make a few basic automatons in case the constructs stop moving when they pass through..."

"The point is if we could call them back and see what they'd found."
