Actually something far more annoying. You've noticed the burn marks on my arm? Soul transferral. I used to be in a body much more handsome than this one, was a rather wealthy business/conman, serial killer when I felt like it... I was able to do whatever I wanted to do, essentially. Then one night I go walking through a park and some kid ambushes me and swaps our souls in order to cure his depression or some shit like that. I ask him if we can swap back, he says no, the pathway's sealed, so I kill him. Then I find out that swapping souls deleted most of my knowledge of my magic, so I came here. I used to be a student here. Think my name was Vabok something.
