Two weeks pass.
First they called in the Juniors, they needed more magic users to keep the Shadow contained. However they were not enough.
Then they called in the Sophmores, young and inexpreienced, they used them to assult the soft points of the Shadow cultists lines.
However they suffered more casulaties than even the non magical units fighting.
Then they called the teachers, a last resort before sending the green students in.
However their skill in magic and command was not enough to break the siege lines.
Now they call in the Freshmen, the greenest and youngest students, some barely old enough to leave home.
They use you as a surgeon uses a knife, to cut quickly at the cultists and then pull out.
For two weeks you saw the wounded pour in, faces pale from blood loss and the horror of war. Limbs crudely blasted off, faces scarred for life.
You saw the coffins stack up, more and more dead on the field of battle. From either Cultist bullet or Shadow magic.
Now it is your groups turn, the intercom blares you names.
