All you really need to know is that it costs MP to cast a spell.

Cost is how much MP.

Difficulty is how much you have to roll over.

I think both are 10 by default.

EDIT: Nope, Cost starts at 1.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with this:

Assign the difficulty check stuff to either Cost or Difficulty.

Am I supposed to say how hard/expensive it is? What does the spell even do? I am confus.

Take those numbers and assign them either to the spell's difficulty (what you have to roll over) and cost (MP cost).

And it turns your skin into chitin. Makes stuff not hit as hard.
