You decide to take the back roads. You walk back to town and try to find some. You manage to find an old path that runs parallel to the road for many miles. The branches and roots are slowly retaking this route, so progress is slow. After most of the morning has been spent fighting the forest, you find a river. The river is choked with duckweed and eelgrass, and its deep green waters slowly roll deeper into the forest. The river's crossing is old and overgrown, watched over by a similarly old and overgrown man. He stares at the group.

The Bridgekeeper:
