If so, then the Nameless Hero from Gothic, because...
I mean, this guy killed off a godlike demon, at least 6 dragons and a pretty deal of goblins, orcs, sheep, wolves and the likes.

And then claimed himself the king. You can't get more badass than that.
(I'm talking about the Gothic 1-3 Nameless Hero, not the Arcania one)

I'm going to suggest we base a character on how interesting they are, not badassery. That's just my suggestion of course.

Otherwise this could just dissolve into "MY GUY IS REALLY STRONG AND UR GUY SUX"

Scratch the Warden; too variable.
Unfortunately, but in any case ...
I think Issac Clarke would be a good choice. Survivor, madman, gunbuilder, descendent of Mario...

Alright then.
This one can go on forever unless we find a solution.

You can total roll with a non-fighter for the character development.

How about...

since it's 'reality GRAVE'.

Isaac Clarke.
Deadspace.
Technosuit, Plasma Cutter, Stomping alien zombies fetish...madness in later games...
What more can we wish for?
Not a bad idea, actually. Him and Gordon Freeman are up there in deranged gun/melee/sciency types.

I think I'd still prefer someone more acrobatic and magic-y, though. Clarke and Freeman can't even block. :I

Is Nameless Hero an official enough name?

Also, sounds like he might be a bit bloodthirsty. I think it'd be better to have a more mellow main char.

That's a good option, but I doesn't have to be a non-fighter, just not Mr. Action God Man.

Does Dr. Eye count as a non-fighter?

I think I got this.
Iji (from Iji)

Ten-in-one superweapon
Ability to crack into any electronic system (including that of enemy weapons if you're stealthy like that)
Either a pacifist or soldier mentality (try beating the game without killing anybody, totally plausible)
Literally kicks ass really hard (if you feel like it)

Choose either the pacifist or the soldier since they act very different as your vote.

I'll elaborate on why I picked CJ then. He can fight and has a military-like grasp on just about every weapon, is an excellent driver and to an extent can even fly aerial vehicles.

Unlike some of the other protagonists mentioned he is also very charismatic, which Link and Gordon Freeman lack.

Alright then, so pacifist it is.

It's been a while since I played Dishonored, so I forgot, but does Corvo ever speak?

We could also be something from the SCP Foundation. Dr. Bright could be fun to play...
