I think his point is that since the Golan Heights are de facto Israeli controlled territory, any chance in light levels there implies that the chance in light levels on the rest of the map isn't solely caused by the war.

To be fair, I think the Golan Heights are to small to make a judgement on that.

Also, I see no change in light levels in the Golan Heights

Do you realize what you are saying? People have been banned for less than this, you know.

People have been banned for saying things like that in an angry, irrespective manner conflicting with forum guidelines. If you remain polite, you can defend quite a few controversial viewpoints.

You said that there sadly hasn't been a war against Israel. Or, rather, hopefully, the phrasing of what you said sounded like you were sad that the Arab world is not waging war against Israel.

I don't understand...

You can not openly support attack on israel, or the way you said it, or something like that. Why I dont know, I guess its again some forum rule or something. I dont see a reason for ban really, maybe post edit.

The problem is that you're kinda advocating genocide there, or at least expressing support for past attempts. Driving the Jews into the sea and all that jazz.

Dude, war stories? I know those too. Bad ones as well - do you really want a dick measuring contest about whose family had it worse during those times?
Let me quote again:
It can't happen again sadly because the Arab world is even more divided and weaker than before
'It' in this context referring to wars that were quite openly planned as wars of extermination. Perhaps you meant something else, but that's what you said. Or do you seriously believe the Arabs would've been content with installing a slightly different bureaucracy?

I suspect that there is a misunderstanding/misinterpretation somewhere over what Yannanath said.

Pretty much this, yeah. Change of topic, with removal of any loose threads to PMs?
