Manufacture 5 Altair IIIs and sell them to that government for 20/unit.

Continue research on the new hull.
Name the newly researched engine MC-E-01.

Daniel Murray to design 2 modified Altair IIIs, one using the K-180, one the MC-E-01, instead of the basic engine.
Joanna Jackson to contact and negotiate with a rival government of the one which leaked and ordered the Altair IIIs. She is attempting to make a deal for an order of either or both of the modified Altair IIIs. (Name them AltairIIIA and Altair IIIB, if the name isn't copyrighted.)

So the engine is the power source in this setting? I'm imagining them like Star Trek warp cores, now. :P
Hyperspace and subspace use different engines. Just to make things easier to handle.

-> Hyperspace communicator
-> Hybrid rocket engines (capable of flying in space and athmosphere)
-> Carbonwaver alloy (Light, heat resistant, and cool looking. Pretty strong too, but hard to fabricate)
-> Micro Hyperdrive
-> Full automation protocols

There are running costs. 25 credits a turn per manufacturing station, 10 credits a turn for each research center. We all have one of each, so we all pay 35 crefits in upkeep per turn, for now.

So are the K-180 and MC-E-01 subspace or hyperspace engines?

(Bear in mind that the government still wants to buy 5 Altair IIIs at 20.)
Fixed that. thanks :)

Oops

Both are subspace, I believe.

...wait a minute, the engine I researched isn't public domain right? So swordsmith would have to pay me to use it correct?

-Regardless, build 5 more Altairs, but try modding them with the new MC-E-101, and try to sell those to the government for a slightly increased price(25 a ship)

-Continue basic railgun research, as well as modular cargo bays

-Attempt another go at the Atlas, using the MC-E-101 engine and railguns for defense

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Just a question, but where did you find this?

Concurrent discovery. You both developped it at the same time.

For the sake of simplicity I do not want to differentiate them.

Though if you guys really want to do so I could. But that mean more rolls :D

In each status spoiler, at the top it says 'Facilities:' and then stats on manufacturing and research centers. One of the stats is Cost/quarter. It's also the only stat research has. I'd use a quote, but PFP.

You might wanna put a note then that it was a concurrent discovery by us for reference :)

Also, quick question: Generally, how long do we have exclusive use of our tech before it becomes public domain?

((Can we do it, on a unless X people discover it basis, rather than on a after X turns basis. Helps prevent clutter and stuff.))
