"It would allow us to plan just what we should do. You seem knowledgeable about this phenomenon, so your group would be useful to have. I am to assume that if you are asleep at midnight, barring special circumstances, you will remain asleep through the Dark Hour?"

Nuriel smirks and nods.

"Hopefully... wait... whos going to go to Selina's house to help bandage her up? Because shes going to need help. I'll do it if no one else wants to but *yawn* I could really use some sleep."

"Okay, sure. Wait, what happens if we steal something during dark hour? Is it reset afterwards, or do we keep it?"

Selina gives a small smile to Angel, showing she appreciates the thought.

Anna ponders Cyri's question.

"I've actually done some science on that. It's a similar question for our clothes, and even the weather patterns. And timezones! I've always wondered how timezones interact with the Dark Hour. If they do - the jury's still out on that one, since it's not really possible to accurately time if the Dark Hour sweeps over the map in line with midnight, or jumps hour by hour according to timezone or just effects a sufficiently small area that there's no perceptible deviation from true midnight. I've also tested some other things, and here's my conclusion. (Which may be superseded by canon if Elf knows better.)

Time usually goes in a straight line, right? Well the Dark Hour inserts a loop.The start and end points are effectively the same for the majority of the population unless something goes wrong. (Not animals though, they don't get coffin-ated. I think it only affects sentients. Which is why I was very confused when I found a fox in a coffin once. That's a story for another time, heheh!) For our organic bodies, time doesn't loop. Hence, the stuff that happens to us remains. But anything we pick up should go back to the way it was. Also the burning isn't a thing, so that's helpful."
