((Pretty much exactly that, but then I outsmarted myself thinking that 'maybe its a double bait-and-switch. Also I think my character is the dwarven equivalent of an impatient rockstar.))

Provide cover for Kyle with Interdimensional Briefcase. Duck behind it myself, utilizing its interdimensional durability for interdimensional protection.
