I'm going to also be running the "Iron Chef" game in this world, so if you'd rather use your turn setting up a gourmet adventurer or restaurant fortress full of good eats, that's available now, as well.  I've updated the front page to reflect this addition.

I'm downloading the save file now, and i should have time to finish this over the next week.

Edit: I'm working on the scenic detour now; it took a bit to get Masterwork working.

Edit 2: This might take a few forts before I make it very far, since Masterwork worlds are more deadly. I already lost a fort.

Edit 3: Hopefully I'll be able to get this done by the time the week is done, but I'm currently attempting to learn all of the masterwork mod very quickly. I might have to do a less interesting fort.

I went back to the house that had the werewolf baby and now a Archeologist name Barricade (Blushing)Axe(s) just walk in during the recent migrant wave and he's not apart of the fort. he's friendly.

Something weird is going on in this site and kinda wish I didn't end it quickly.

You want to take an Iron Chef turn to explore this, Rumrusher?  Be my guest.

So far in the fort, I have several dwarfs who are not members of the fort. Also, one of the dwarfs on embark (or maybe one from the first migrant wave) was a magmamancer, so he saved the fort from some of the wildlife by staring at it until it blew up.

try dfhack's "tweak makeown" on the dwarves who appear in your migrant wave but aren't part of your civ and just hang out outside, if you'd like.  I beleive the magmamancer is a historical entity too.

Ok, I've finished the fort now. It crumbled to undead and the fact that I have never played masterwork before. I'll get a post up soon about the adventurer adventures.

My fort is called
Time for another exiting journey!

This time, the guide is a bogeyman falsetto wings travel agent. Well, it's somewhat relevant even without changing the name, so I'll keep it (unless someone already changed his name).

Let's go to Bittencave the Jaundiced Hollows (to the southwest)!

Suddenly...
Kobold ambush! I'll just sit here and watch (= run away to not die) while the guide deals with them.

That night:

ANOTHER attack. Also, I either lost the guide or got him killed.

And another:

And just as the bogeymen bashed Twoflower's head in, the game crashes and he wakes up.

Well, here's my save with my (dead) fort. It's called Tunnelkindness, at the end of the arm-looking thing in the north.

oh fun fact about the bogeymen, due to their immunity to dark arts they can't learn or gain secrets from slabs or books even if they know how to read.

Another fun doodle, Rumrusher. (I'm really enjoying how your travel agent seems to be Twoflower's companion of choice in his various misadventures.)

Anyway, looks like Twoflower, the Geomancer (!!!) is beginning to have dreams of traveling once again.  I wonder how many years its been since he began touring the island?

This has been hilarious. If no one is waiting on a turn, I might try to continue his journey in a week or so.

Ok, Dick.  Post your confirmation of actually taking a turn and your 1 week timer will be set from there.  Glad you've enjoyed the read so far.
