Createitem Script in Adventurer Mode?

How can you use createitem script in Adventure Mode?
Wanted to do an advfort so was gonna give myself a pick, it said No Unit Selected. I tried pressing L and looking over myself, but it doesnt yet work.

An easier way would be to use changeitem to change a weapon you don't use into a pick. At least I found it easier. For example, you could make a bone weapon through knapping.

What you will need to do is drop the weapon, move a space or two away. Use L or K to place your cursor over the item on the ground and put "changeitem s ITEM_WEAPON_PICK here" into DFhack.

Or you know, just use Advfort to make a few workshops and make yourself a pick.

Well, to do so i would need an axe. And has same ploblem, as my weapon is a pike.
So, how the hell i make a pick if i cant mine metals?

You need to go in the "z" menu to select a unit in adventure mode, not just look.

Best thread i could see for it, so I'd like to ask is there a mod here which lets you use bits of night creatures, forgotten beasts or megabeasts to create items? Possibly with their own effects? If you know of the Nemean lion basically that.

Yes. Kinda.

Fear the Night, which is included in MDF, allows to eat/drink the meat/blood of the vampires and werebeasts to become one.

MDF itself would allow building a slaugherhouse using Adv-Fort, which can specifically slaughter megabeasts and gives specific rewards. For example you kill a Balrog, you get a volcanic sword and volcanic whip.

I am sure Wanderers Friend does something similar, just with extra butchery objects, and I wouldnt be surprised to hear that Deon added similar ideas into his mods.
