(16) Maria finds a dark space in Selina's mind, flashes of Demons Run and Selina doing things already explained flitting around in it. A strange barrier seems to be fluxing around the area, attempting to hold it back.

(13) The barrier appears fragile and easily broken, though the fantasies appear to be flowing slowly towards it. The fantasies involving sex appeared to do more harm than good to the barrier, but those involving kissing and dates are strengthening it. Messing with the barrier may cause more good than bad.

(18) The thoughts seem to help, the barrier gaining more solidity. Maria is (20... again with the 20s?) suddenly overwhelmed by emotions. At first Maria can't understand them, but then feels love, compassion, happiness, friendship, and a small bit of lust. All of these are the emotions coming from Selina at the thoughts Maria was creating. She wanted to be with Maria, hoping desperately that they would be together. She seemed afraid to approach Maria with the idea of sex again, feeling guilty about all of her fantasies and knowing Maria wasn't ready. She didn't even know if she could do it herself.
