"...What do you think the chance is that the gas station attendant is a goddess? Should we check?"

"Heh. Little does he know..."
Rhadamanthys laughed to himself, as if he had made some sort of joke.

Maria looked at him strangely.
"Is everything alright, Rhadamanthys?"
"I'm fine. I just found something funny, is all.

And no, lass. You're better off not checking. They probably got a new one ages ago."

"Well you keep saying that so it must be true." Conny hugs him back.

Selina jumps up! , And hugs Angel.

"Are you okay, are you still scared, how do you feel, your alright!?!?"

"Yeah, I'm fine...it's gone...I'm safe."

Selina calms down a bit, then looks at Angel seriously.

"As long as i'm alive, no physical harm will come to you... Can't say much for Nuriel though..." Then Selina hugs her again.

"Hell if I won't help you there, Selina. Anima's pissed about it, to say the least."

Yuri returns, entering the room and pacing into it, looking around at everyone.

"Our meal is ready, if you'll follow me." She smiles, turning again and leading the way to a small dining room, at least for this house, though it was probably still well larger than any that they had used before.

All the food was freshly made for them, with two main pots for the requested spicy pork curry, a pot of freshly made Shoyu Ramen topped with egg, cooked potato slices, chicken, and steamed vegetables, and a side-bowl of a light, fluffy salad with chopped up celery, tomatoes, and various and sundry other fruits and vegetables, and surrounded by several small pitchers of various dressings.

"I do hope there is enough for everyone..."

Maria nodded.
"I don't believe I've had the pleasure of introducing myself.
I'm Maria, and thanks for having us around. I do hope it isn't too much trouble."

"The pleasure is all mine, Maria. Please, sit, relax, eat. It's no trouble at all, really." She would wait for everyone to be seated and begin eating before she seats herself.

"I hope not. Thanks, by the way. I don't think we had enough money to get ourselves lunch."
Maria took a seat next to Alistair and Selina. Rhadamanthys leaned by the door.
"Thanks, but no thanks. I'll eat later."

"You made all this for us? Wow... Thank you Yuri." Conny has a look of respect as she sat down and took a bit of salad.

Selina sits down and mutters a shy "thank you" before taking some curry. Selina seems to keep glancing at Yuri but her eyes move back just as quickly.

Selina calms down a bit, then looks at Angel seriously.

Doesn't this get old after a while?

Angel sat down next to Selina and served herself Ramen and salad. She waited to eat until everyone had been served, and a bit longer.

Yuri smiles softly at Selina as she notices her glances, and then looks back at Maria, nodding a bit. "It's nothing, really. I enjoy cooking, and you are guests in my home, so the least I can do is feed you."

To Angel, she seems to pay attention for a bit longer, thinking. "Are you alright, little one? I know that confronting Demons Run was hard for you... I do hope that it hasn't colored your opinion of me."
