I'm not mad, my feelings aren't hurt, but I would rather see it go to someone who REALLY wants it.

Well now I feel bad about entering. I want this game, but my desire for it is (obviously) less then my desire to have $50*. So that means I don't want it that much, I guess...

So is ANYONE else offended by the idea that I hold a second chance drawing to award the unclaimed prize?

no- easy come, easy go, it's not any more unfair then if they forgot their lottery ticket in their pants before doing laundry.

Let's try this again. Final winner is Geen. His name was drawn randomly to replace Neyvn who never collected his copy after 6 days. Geen send me a pm with an email address to claim your game. If Geen doesn't collect it within 72hrs I will just give it to someone I think wants it.

I think the only way he wouldn't collect is if he doesn't see it because he's tired of seeing the thread. It's slightly more forgivable now that the original contest has been over for 6+ days. I gave him 72hrs since it's the weekend and he may not see it right away.

I stated in the rules when it would end. I also stated that the winners would have to contact me with an email address. I did not PM the winners to let them know that they won, since I think it is not asking for too much for them to check back in on a contest within a week. If I entered a contest for a $50 prize that I really wanted I would check it until I knew I didn't win. I think the winner has to take some responsibility, much like a person must check their lottery ticket to see if they have won. So far, the lottery doesn't track you down to tell you and neither will I.

Eventually the game will end up in the hands of somebody who really wants it, and it might be Geen. Weekends are a busy time, so I am giving him 72hrs to claim it.

I hope he does claim it, at least it will be going to someone who won the competition (even if it was a retake!) but after the week I've had, I'd love to claim it if he doesn't. I can then at least play at stealing things...lol
