Aside from that? Speak to corvids. They're receptive to death, in the sense of "if you feed them and only undead them when they die naturally, they'll turn into a pet swarm"

I'm sure you could, but the effort it would take to make it worthy of more than a short hop is considerable, especially in comparison to a human body.

Well there's a Prince of Persia game with an enemy that dissolves into ravens and I always thought that was incredibly awesome.

It would take a lot of effort to prepare.

Doing it? Well, expect it to be expensive or slow. Keeping a Mass Necromantic Disenchant going would halve your mana regen rate until you cast. I figure you'd transmute bird bones or infuse yours with them, do some obscure magic to make it stick, and then ready the spell.

You could use a trigger spell to do it upon reaching a certain HP threshold, but if you're low on MP and the trigger is met, then there are gonna be a murder of corvids with a voice telling them to kill, and no Mor no more. Not the death you're looking for, I assume.
