Ingram
Alignment: Neutral Evil.
Garb
-Leader: Leaders among Ingram's followers do not follow any sort of dress code, and usually dress in either black or brown clothing with leather armors, as with most thieves. They all however, carry around a slightly-curved dagger with a coin engraved upon the bottom of the blade with a dagger engraved within the coin, a symbol of their rank among Ingram's followers. The dagger itself is worth quite a lot and is blessed by Ingram himself, or so it is believed, however selling this weapon is a major sin.
-Priest: Ingram's priests look more like monks than followers of the god of theives. Wearing dark brown robes and an amulet with a gold coin attached to it, with the engraving of a dagger upon it.
-Followers: The followers of Ingram are not bound by any dress code, but they are however required to carry with them at all times a coin with a dagger engraved upon it.
Sigils: A gold coin with a dagger engraved upon it, and the opposite side has a skull upon it. All followers carry one, either made of gold, silver, or copper, dependent on their rank.
Personality: Ingram would probably be described as nothing more than a petty thief by most, and even by rival gods/goddesses. But they're quite mistaken, as while Ingram is a thief himself, he is far from your garden variety thieves that you see running the streets and alleys of the cities. Ingram has always kept himself out of the quarrels and fights of mortals and deities, taking advantage of the situation to gain from the battles, usually by informing his Rogues of a battle that is being waged and informing them to head out. While out among his followers, walking the streets, he'll often snatch up a coin purse only to toss it to someone who would do with it, whether it be a smelly beggar or someone who is just down on his luck.
Ingram is also a tactician, and sometimes described as an opportunist. Ordering his followers to move and act at precise times to give them the upper hand in a conflict allows him to keep his men alive. While he may want to keep his men alive it is purely to advance his own interests, and without those men or women his pursuits may be compromised. Almost always Ingram is silent, thinking and plotting or simply mulling over something in his head, and he rarely speaks up during meetings, saving any words he has for more private settings. His closest ties among the gods are to his sister and lover respectively. Among mortals, his closest ties are to very few people, mainly the leaders among his followers, but he is most often seen with one man. Bartholomew Samson. An ex-pirate turned Thief leader, Bart is often referred to as Ingram's defender and quite possibly the only person to have ever gained the god's friendship.
Favored Classes: Thieves, Gamblers, Pirates, Engineers.
Masteries: Theft, Trickery, Luck
Shared Domains: Technology, Poison, Illusion
Granted Abilities
Hide in Shadows: Hide in Shadows is a fairly simple skill that most thieves learn, allowing them to partially disappear while standing in shadows or dark areas, lowering chance of detection and increasing damage with back stab and up the chance of a successful thieving skill usage by 10%. Not always successful with a Base chance of 25%, more with training and blessing.
Devil's Luck: With the coins that all of Ingram's followers receive upon joining, they are able to harness what has been dubbed the Devil's luck, allowing them the chance to win big or lose big with a simple flip of a coin. Heads, good luck. Tails, bad luck. 50-50 chance.
Cat tail: Not a true cat tail, but rather the benefits such a tail would give or symbolize, including improved balance and heightened reflexes, essentially allowing someone blessed with this ability to walk upon thin ropes with speed and dexterity only given to felines. A fairly high blessing, this can either be permanent or temporary, however permanent blessings are very rare.
Feat (Nimble Fingers): Ingram's followers, if they aren't already good with their hands, are often granted with nimble fingers, even if they aren't very devout. Essential for Thieves and Engineers, Nimble fingers allow the user to easily perform somewhat complicated and quick acts with their hands, allowing thieves to perform slight of hand and steal from someone without being noticed, and allow engineers to create and modify smaller weapons and machinery. Often given as a permanent skill, it is still capable of being taken away, and replaced with stupid fingers, which is more like a curse.
Use Magic Device: Ingram's followers are gifted with the knowledge of how to use magical devices, and with training, they can learn how to activate and use even the most complicated magical machinery. Magical weapons and items can easily give the user a big advantage in battle.
Weaknesses: Along with the normal weaknesses associated with thieves and the like, Ingram's followers gain a couple more. While a few are obvious and thieves often have them, they effect all of Ingram's followers.
Loss of luck: Should any follower lose his or her coin, they would also lose their luck. Since the coin has many purposes and pretty much embodies the person's luck, as granted by Ingram, losing it will result in a dramatic change of events. Every gamble, every flip of a coin or roll of a die will always result in a loss. Events such as having one's coin purse stolen or suddenly have a hole in it will occur, as well as effecting the person's chances to be caught and even their ability to fight. This can easily result in the person's death unless they find their coin.
Religion Name: No specific religion, simply referred to as followers of Ingram.
Defender of the Faith: No true defender, however Ingram is often seen speaking with a man named Bartholomew Samson.
Sins: While Ingram is aligned to Neutral Evil, he does not condone certain acts.
Disloyalty: Ingram believes in keeping your word and sticking to it if at all possible, and not betraying others that are with you. Disloyalty to him and his followers is highly looked down upon and in extreme cases, is punishable by death.
Theft from the poor: While many of his followers are thieves and many people are rather poor, Ingram does not condone theft from the poor, under any circumstance. Stealing food or money from someone who barely has enough to live is something that Ingram will punish severely.
Power hunger: Becoming power hungry, while not particularly sinful, is highly looked down upon. Ingram believes that one should not vie for power for simple personal gain, and that any thief would be better off not holding a place of power for too long, lest they become cocky and foolhardy and end up getting caught.
Rape: Ingram does not condone criminal acts such as rape, and will punish such acts with torture, and then death.
