That's actually rather pretty.

Those wolves :D Cute there.

Also, backstory needed? Because the art is amazing enough as it is.

My inner fursona is the most noble and majestic of god's creatures, an anglerfish.

I'm considering drawing my fursona but I have a feeling it would be the most terrifying thing I've ever drawn.

All deep water fish scare me.

There have been a few times I've attempted to draw the ever elusive tigerman mayor. Maybe now I'll actually be motivated to finish one now that there's a thread for it.

Dwarves passing by get good thoughts from the mist of water and exploding felines.
Anyone of the equivalent to the royal bloodline in a nomadic group would have a sun tattooed on their hand, or a scrotum on their forehead (it's a little-known fact that fraternities are based off of long-forgotten tribes).

Can I get a sealman with a cape and the most expressive eyebrows you've never seen?

If you make me a Squidman it'll be my avatar on all websites.  I will be a squid on the inside and also on the internet.

Interesting premise. Always been a fan of anatomy/medical art and to a lesser extent, anthropological art.

So...hows about a fox? A Kitsune even? Mythology counts, right? :3

Yeah, mythology counts. :3

I kind of half-assed several things here, but bear with me.

Invent a neon-coloured wolf-man with a tragic backstory and tell us all about it.
This already exists.  x3
Yeah, I've seen that image before. That's pretty much the ULTIMATE SPARKLEDOG right there. :P

Also, backstory needed? Because the art is amazing enough as it is.

Backstory's a plus. Really, your fursona doesn't need one, but if you can write at least a sentence or two of general information on it, or maybe just a few bullet points, that instantly makes it more personable.

There have been a few times I've attempted to draw the ever elusive tigerman mayor. Maybe now I'll actually be motivated to finish one now that there's a thread for it.
Oh, please do. DF animal people have the extra benefit of coming with all the historical data the game stores on them. :3

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
MAGNIFICENT! That happy face! Dem pincers! :D
What kind of skin does an apparent half-dog half-lobster half-human have, though? Fur or carapace?

Since a fox starts with 1 tail which represents the first 100 years of life... a 2 tailed fox would be between 100-200 years old.

Thus a 7 tailed fox is only 600
