Movement and action works similar to Fire Emblem. Each player takes a Movement Phase and an Action Phase each turn. During your Movement Phase, you can move NORTH, EAST, WEST or SOUTH (alternately, UP RIGHT LEFT DOWN) but not diagonally. You can only move as many tiles in a turn as you have SPD. Finally, you can move through allies but not foes, and you can't end your turn on the same tile as either of them. Don't forget your character sheets are in the OOC thread, second post.
During an action phase, you can take ONE action. Activating a spell/ability, making an attack on a foe, using an item or what have you. Actions work similarly to movement - you can't attack a foe just northwest of you with a sword, for example, because that's counted as two tiles (north and then west). Once everyone has finished both their phases, the turn will end, actions will be counted and the Enemy Phase will begin.
You may move and then take an action or take an action then move. If you want to make an action without moving, please say so.
One last note: any format for movement is fine as long I understand it, but be precise. "Move to 13,2" would take you to the top right corner of the map, but you can also say "move 1 North, 3 west then attack Goomba A." If you have any questions about the terms in the game, please ask in the OOC thread.
