Name: Myc
Race: Toad (Dryite)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Typically wears a body-concealing white robe with red trimming on it, there's a red triangle in the middle pointing towards his left shoulder, with whatever armor being beneath that. Normally depicted with a serious look on his face.
Bio: Was really like any other Dryite, well one in the military that is. Really just a foot soldier, but content with such a fate he lived his life in simple glee of adequacy. Until the dreams came. First it was nothing much, just him sitting on a hill watching the stars. The next dream it went a bit further, he managed to catch a glimpse of something either small or far away, a red streak in the sky that seemed to go downwards. The next dream even further, he saw that such a dream instead revealed that it wasn't small, wasn't small at all. And was heading towards the ground. That dream thankfully stopped before it hit the ground. The last dream though, the last dream it hit the ground, and with a fury that would never leave his mind erupted into a giant shroom. Glowing spores fell across the land, and he watched as if sped up the damage each spore did to what it touched.

Myc has no idea what such dreams mean, but each time he tries to forget them they return again and again, in the same sequence, only stopping when he talks about it. Some guessed that it was foretelling the future, a horrible event to come, others that he was cursed by some strange being for an obscured reason, others just that it was metaphorical, something his mind was trying to tell him but that he couldn't quite figure out. Either way, it drove him out of his adequacy and further into the ranks of the military, then from there out of Dyrite lands into the lands of Peach and the Toads. It was a surprise to him when he heard he got accepted into the ranks of the royal guard, but it was supposedly because of his hard work as a soldier in Dryite land. Others say though it was just to get him out of Dyrite land, as his prophesying wasn't very much appreciated.

Primary Ability Path: Rocket Prophet: Set to preach and extoll the glory/horror of rockets. Whatever they are, Myc's not entirely sure himself. Just that they have a dreaded red glare, and they burst with a furious might in the air into a large mushroom, which gives off spores which taints the land and its inhabitants for a long time.
Secondary Ability Path:  (Not So) Fun Guy: Relentless and driven by some force, he doesn't hold back from his enemies and always seems to be in a hurry to do things. This tends to leave him with a very serious attitude, and a harsh force to his foes.

Name: Vilhelmas Astrauckas
Race: Human (Flame-Attuned)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Summary for drawings: Has white skin and ash-brown, short hair with a few areas singed, and burn scars on left cheek/top of forehead. Grey eyes, looks gruff. Probably around 25 in age.

Longer: Vilhelmas is a tall man, white-skinned, standing six feet precisely tall. He is not especially thick, not especially thin, but he is rather solid. He almost perpetually seems to have the left side of his hair mostly singed, whether it's curious bad luck or something permanently screwed up is not known. Said hair is an ash brown, short and barely groomed. He also has one or two burn scars on his face, though they're somewhat small- one on his left cheek, a few towards his hairline, as well as heavy burn scarring on his right hand. His eyes have gray irises, and all in all he can be described as gruff-looking. He looks to be around 25 in age.

Bio: Vilhelmas was born unlucky- as he was born as a particularly unstable flame-attuned. His younger years were spent recovering from accidentally self-inflicted burns. But learning from them would not come until later, as Vilhelmas' life at the beginning of his adulthood was a purposeless one, roving and simply trying to survive, having a hard time of it. Vilhelmas rapidly toughened, and as he aged finally learned, learning how to use a mace to defend himself out in the world where civilization is small and with hardly an effect. And then he ended up through luck in a major city. Though it briefly confused him, Vilhelmas readjusted to the way of life of the bigger center of civilization and as to put the things he'd learned in his life to use, he joined the military, and from there proved himself enough to end up in the Guard.

Primary Ability Path: Mace Skill: Vilhelmas has trained with a mace throughout his life.
Secondary Ability Path: Toughing it out: Vilhelmas has developed the ability to handle pain and wounds well throughout his life.
Tertiary Ability Path: Flame-attuned Ability: As a flame-attuned, and a particularly unstable one at that, Vilhelmas can harness fireballs.

Name: Mando
Race: Toad
Gender: Male
Appearence: Generic looking toad except for having green shoes and wearing a Red bandana. He's also smaller than normal, making him look like a teenager. He is 5'2 with green eyes and tan skin. His arms have many small scars and his back a large jagged one running almost directly on the spine. Concialed underneath his jacket, he has several sheaths for small daggers and knives, as well as two more worn openly on his belt, and one placed inside each of his sleeves.

Bio: Being born poor doesn't give you a lot of options. To survive, Mando did any little odd job he could to pay for food. He eventually was able to get a decent job at the local item shop. After fighting off 2 attempted robberies, the second solo, he was hired as a royal guard against Bowser, sworn to protect the princess, and the kingdom. He's had trust issues most of his life, making it hard for him to put his life in someone elses hands.

Despite this, those he does trust can count on him for anything. He'll take a blow for you, cover for you, even cook for you if you wash the dishes! If he ever fell in love, Mando promised himself that he would protect that person at whatever cost. He's a very silent, yet reliable companion. He knows the answer to fight or flight in most situations, and will often delay pursuers in the event that they're being chased so that the other may get away.

Primary ability path: Blade fighter. Mando has spent enough time on the street to understand that its always good to keep a knife or two on you... or ten.

Secondary ability path: Evasion Expert. Mando has been dodging pickpockets, thieves, and bandits so long, he knows how to avoid the heavy blows, and the sticky fingers, of his enemies.

Name: Teressa Hailinger
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Appearance: Teressa is TALL, even among humans, standing at a mighty 6' 7''. She is almost completely muscle, and what isn't muscle is either scar tissue or cold, hard steel. Her hair is a dull red with 2 bright blond streaks, her eyes are clear blue and she has a slightly curved scar running from her left eyebrow, over her left eye and down to just a bit higher than the corner of her mouth. She wears simple, functional clothing typically seen on males that are of dull colours and provide free motion.
Bio: Teressa could be described to have been born for battle, seeing how it's been a big part of her life and family history so far. Her family's ancestors were refugees from the fall of the kingdom who had to relocate when their city was tearing itself apart in the chaos, but before that they had a history of being fierce warriors in service to the crown or for their own ends, a tradition that was passed down through the years is still upheld even today. Following the footsteps of her mother (her father is a blacksmith who helps supply the guard with gear), she trained herself with her mother's help and applied to join the guard when she came of age and has faithfully served the guard for 4 years now.

Teressa is a headstrong and level headed woman who, while she does enjoy her job (some might say a bit too much), always strives for excellence in what she does. She is a bit of a diehard loyal to the crown due to her job, but is also fiercely loyal to those she considers her friends and comrades in arms, sometimes even coming off as a bit bull-headed because of this. She likes to think positively but her opinions are always tempered with reason, and when it comes down to a fight, there is no one more willing to protect those that she cares about and no one more unwilling to give in to defeat.

Primary Ability Path: Warmaiden (The blood of warriors, warlords and even heroes flows in Teressa's veins, and it truly comes to life as she wades through the melee.)
Secondary Ability Path: Diehard (Due in part to her stubbornness and bull-headed nature, Teressa does NOT give in easily, especially in battle.)

Filo de la Fluganta Testudo was born a prince in a rather prosperous City-State loosely aligned with Bowser's Koopa Kingdom. Filo's boyhood was spent torn between the lap of luxury and the savage beauty of the wilderness where he and his father would hunt for sport.

Upon hitting adolescence Filo, like many young nobles of his age, took up fencing. He quickly found that he was decent with the blade, but nothing special: Several of his peers would regularly best him with authority. When Filo and his group of friends reached that special age when their life was defined by the pursuit of female attention, the duels began to heat up. After one of his peers stabbed him hard enough to merit the consumption of a Super Shroom for healing, Filo decided to leave home before somebody ended up killing him over some hot piece of shell.

Enrolling in Bowser's Elite Lakitu Academy, Filo studied weather magic in hopes of one day earning his cloud and serving as an officer in the Koopa Air Force. It was quickly determined that Filo was an excellent mage, for a Koopa anyway, and the aspiring young noble was put on the fast track for an officers title. Sadly disaster struck before he could graduate.

Bowser was well known for his treachery and lust for power, and this sadly became apparent when the mighty Koopa King launched a surprise attack on Filo's homeland, deciding that he would like it better as part of his kingdom as an independent ally. The war was brief and brutal; Seven hours after the first shots were fired the Koopa Flag flew over the city state. Most of Filo's family members were killed in the fighting or executed without ceremony the following day.

Somebody in Bowser's high command had the foresight to order Filo killed as well, but luckily the person the order was given to was a friend of the young Koopa, and Filo was able to escape the Lakitu Academy and Bowser's twisted kingdom.

After wandering for about a year Filo eventually decided to settle down in the Mushroom Kingdom. His military training and experience with nobility made him a natural fit for Princess Toadstools Royal Guard. Although respected as an officer, Filo's condescending aditude, insulting brand of dry humor, and former ties to Bowser's forces have earned him few friends. The prospect of conflict between the Mushroom Kingdom has Filo torn inside: Although he would like nothing more than to avenge his family, many of his closest friends would be fighting for the other side...

Primary Ability Path: Climate Mage. Filo has trained in the art of manipulating the winds and rain in hopes of one day being able to control a cloud of his very own.
Secondary Ability Path: Fencer. The art of the blade was popular amoung Filo's peers growing up. He is proficient with the technique, finesse, and deception associated with such honorable combat.
