Hey, take it easy. If you really don't want to play then just turn yourself AI. But you can just as well continue at your leisure. You might miss a bunch of turns and not end up very competitive, but you might also get a lot of fun out of playing just for the sheer fun of it.
Totally up to you and don't sweat it. The goal of this party is to have fun, so simply try and enjoy yourself.

I'm definitely having fun terrified of everyone I i think everyone has more areas than me but I'll not make it easy for them if they want to kill me
(I say that but most of you most likely have a huge economy and you can supply army that are like 10x that of mine)
but if you do you have to kill a poor old man you monsters.

An army is on my doorstep that I cannot defeat.

The most I could do is send an army of 40 Hydras to fight 500.

Which to my knowledge they could only kill an army of 120

Yet they cannot be combined with other armies. So they cannot help. I outright lost.

Undead and other poison immune units?  Pythum doesn't have great death access though...  Just have your hydras set to the sides with attack rear orders with your other units in the middle.

Did you back your hydra army with mages?  Preferably a communion considering its Pythum.

No, nothing like that they have no poison immunity. But I doubt they can eat through an army of 500.

My spell levels are low because I went for a spread and missed quite a few turns this week because I was busy.

You shouldn't be so quick to surrender. Who knows what fortune might bring? You aren't the only player in the world, so if someone attacks your aggressor, then perhaps you would be saved. At least be defeated on the field of battle before you give up.

My land is far too valuable due to how I set myself up. The person would be lunged into the victory seat afterwards.

Well Neonivek, at least you won't be dying alone. I literally have the enemy at my gates and was essentially hamstrung on my first turn with my starting army being wiped out. Ever since then I've literally been hemorrhaging money trying to claw my way back, while having nearly every random bad event happen. I'll keep playing out my last few turns in case something miraculous happens, but I'm not counting on it.

I know how I could have survived but it would have required me to know a bit more about how the game is played and to go straight for the summons.

The Hydra's largest weakness is that they kill all your soldiers too.

I keep going "Well if I combine the Hydras with my other soldiers I can definitely win this" and then I think for a second and go "No wait... I can't use Hydras and soldiers in the same army... DANG IT!"

In total I just have around maybe 300 troops.

Well, it is not always the number of troops that matter. I remember last game my dozens of giants fighting toe to toe with several hundred units and winning more than once. But that was a case of very high quality units vs very low quality fodder. Still, I wouldn't sell yourself completely short, and your ability to resist an invasion.

By the way, who is attacking you anyway?
