On another note forgot to set my little dude to run so he decided to fight a army of a 100 or so poor guy.

So many scouts dead.  I'm starting to wonder myself if it's worth the time every turn to pump them out and move them all over the place.  I'm mildly curious how scout infested my territory actually is considering I have to jack up my PD to 20-30 all over the place to stop misfortune independent attacks making my territory look like Swiss Cheese.

No it wouldn't help if you postponed it a 100 days.

I already submitted my turn, but for the next one I'll be unavailable to play it until late Friday night. Not sure what the normal submission time is but I'd prefer not to miss a turn, not with evil spiders roaming around that are probably already at end game status.

Can't say that I am. But if I do see him, I'll be sure to attack him on sight. Just got legions of steel and iron will up with my crystal shields. My foot soldiers have insane proc and magic resistance with buffs up.
