((Also, there will be an increase in grammar and spelling quality.

Re-reading the previous updates i noticed a LOT of spelling and grammar mistakes.

There will also be better consistency.))

They are allied with the other council races, which also includes many minor races.))

Synopsis

You awoke in a strange world of bright lights and interest. You met a stranger, who you eventually learn't was the chief scientist of a program that had been running for almost 3 galactic years (almost 15 years). It was started soon after the secretive Vanguard and the Noble Morey went to war with one another and has been kept secret ever since, breeding human super soldiers for the Matriarchy.

Once free you caused chaos, until subdued. Over the course of the next two weeks, you were slowly broken in as your mental and physical defenses were eroded, and brought around to the side of the Scientists in a three way political war in the Morey Government. You made allies of the Matriarch and the head of the old guard generals (the ones not the puppets of the Senatorium), but made enemies of the insane politicians and their hangers on.

You made other allies too. The AI's implanted in the heads of the Vat-Born are sentient, capable of aiding you in your endeavors and there are supporters of you in many unexpected places......

You and your sisters, who you have grown very close to, along with your fellow Brood Leaders Ari, Ankara and the unhinged Elianna proved yourselves in simulation after simulation, combat drill after combat drill. You passed inspection and trounced a massively superior Morey Commando force, humiliating the Politicians and causing a good laugh amongst the proper generals and the Matriarchs Faction.

The crazed politician Presidentess Karista had the last laugh, however, when she inflicted a terrible ordeal on you and your sisters in arms, inducting Ari, Ankara and yourself, along with your broods, into the lifelong service of the Matriarch and the Senatorium. A lifetime of bowing, serving and supporting them.

Now, loaded onto a military transport, heading for the meat grinder, you sit in front of a computer mining its contents for knowledge.

What awaits you? You do not know. But one thing is for sure, you will be fighting the second most feared military power in the known galaxy. A power that has already managed to kill untold hundreds of the Moreys human soldiers.

Are you ready?

Okay now to properly post this suggestion. Call a meeting between the Brood leaders, the Chief scientist, and the Liason officer to get info on the Enemy insectiods and their leadership. I dare say if they want to hold anything their going to need good leadership and we need to break that hive mentality of theirs.

An talk gossip about whatever else our all female race wants.

((Sorry if this update does not seem as together as the previous ones. I am still getting my head into universe. I just wanted to give you guys something.))

Talk to Ala-Shar, Try to find out about psionics and abridans and Morey life-spans and permanent quarters and stuff...

You exit your room and quickly make for Ala-Shar. You manage to find her in her quarters.

"Oh, Pandora. Do you need something?" She asks as she relaxes on her bed alongside her seemingly ever present tablet.

"Yes please" You smile and sit next to her. "I would like to know a few things. Some of them are small or trivial, but i am compelled to learn about the Morey."

Ala-Shars ears prick up at that. She sits up and positions herself next to you. "Ask away, dear" she says, smiling back.

"First, are there any Abridans in the taskforce? or at our destination?"

"Hmm....No, i dont think i saw any Abridans in the roster, and no Abridan forces are scheduled to take part in our campaign. Why do you ask?"

"Oh, no reason in particular" You say, trying to move on to the next topic. "How long do Morey live for? My brood met a Morey back in the spaceport, the quarter-mistress, who spoke in a very archaic sounding way."

Ala-Shar smiled. "We Morey can get very old. The oldest of our race would be hundreds or possibly thousands of earth years old." She pauses, thinking. "Actually, now that i think about it, the human race is relatively short lived when compared to more known space-faring races. the Vanguard are the exception due to their extraordinary technology. How they came about such technology is a mystery."

"Do you know when we Vat-born will be getting permanent quarters? So far we have moved twice in a week...." You say, trying to keep the moan out of your voice. The last thing you want to sound like is a petulant teenager.

Ala-Shar actually frowns at this. She hands you an electronic portfolio full of information. "You may want to read this, and also distribute the information amongst your sisters." She shakes her head. "You get your permanent quarters once you complete your assigned mission." You give her a questioning look, but she just points to the file in your hands.

"Finally.." You say "..I would like to talk about psionics."

"Ah. As i said to you before, it is a complicated topic. We would be best to talk about it after you have completed this campaign, or at the very least, secured a solid operating base......" She trails off.

^ plus Slinkar with more detail in the explanation. If Ala-Shar is lying to us again tell her to cut the bull shit and tell the truth. Also, ask Ari about how did the Morey start the war with the Vanguard. This is to see if Ala-Shar told anyone other broodsister that has been close to her about the truth about the war with the Vanguard.

"Thank you for your time" You say as yo get up.

Crossing the room, one more topic pops into your head.

"One last things" You say, turning around and sitting down again. "Could you tell me in detail about the Slinkar?"

Ala-Shars smile freezes. "I....I think the computer in your room will tell you all you need to know. I will not speak of them. Sorry." She smiles apologetically. "It is just something i cannot do. It hurts me....It rings up old memories best left forgotten."

You thank her for her time. She nods and replies "It is not problem, Sweety" Before settling back onto her bed.

After your visit to Ala-Shar, you hunt down Ari, who, like Ala-Shar, was in her room relaxing. You smile at her and you both greet each other. "What brings you here?" She asks.

You sit, thoughtful for a moment before asking "Do you know anything about the beginning of the Morey-Vanguard conflict?"

Ari sighs. "Yes, i do. Ala-Shar told me. I was the only one she told since her oath of silence about the matter.

Ari then launches into the exact same story you heard from Ala-Shar back in the laboratory.

At some point make sure you send a message to the Broods to watch out for any aggressive behavior from our Morey comrades. Oh an call a secret with the liason officer, brood leaders, ala Asher, and yourself. Point of the meeting is to share info on Slinkar and the planet were going to invade. See if we know ANYTHING about the enemy leadership and if the possibility to cut its head of is possible.

You think back to what you were warned of earlier, about the crew of this ship not being overly friendly to the vat-born soldiers. An idea appears in your head. Agreeing with its premise and after talking it over with Ari, you warn your sisters to watch out for any unfriendly actions against the vat-born by the Morey crew and that they should speak with the liaison officer about any incidents should the need arise. You make use of the Battle-Net communications you set up earlier.

You can feel the communique spread throughout your brood, each sister acknowledging the advice. You smile. 'It works!' You smile to yourself mentally. You are pleased it worked so well.

As you sit there in Ari's room, you realise you are still holding Ala-Shar's file. You open it and start reading.

You compile the information you got from Ala-Shar about your destination. Unable to call another meeting due to various interfering events and the time it would take to get the broods together, you decide to spread what was in the electronic portfolio mentally.

'Listen up everyone. Judging by what Ala-Shar told me, the system is effectively a death-trap. The system is littered with the wrecks of warships and battlefleets, enough to have created at least two substantial debris belts around the Binary star core. The worlds under contention have been the deaths of millions of troops from both sides throughout the conflict.

The Slinkar have effectively converted the two inner planets into giant shipyards where they churn out automated light ships. Swarms of space bombers, fighters, corvettes, frigates and even the odd destroyer are churned out each earth year. It means the inner most two in the Goldilocks zone are off limits so long as those planets are in action as the fleet could not protect itself, land troops and fight a huge space fleet at the same time.

The good news is that the out two Goldilocks planets as well as all the gas giants, the gas planet and the frozen fringe worlds are all unassailable for roughly the same reason. The Abasha starfleet is huge, and guards the two outer worlds solidly.

By process of elimination, the remaining three in the centre are the ones constantly at war. Both sides have large numbers of troops stationed on them, with smaller sections of the respective fleets in constant running battles and providing orbital bombardment.

It is a complete mess.

We wont be the only new troops arriving in the sector. The 21st Galactic Strike Group is also on its way, along with a second fleet, called the Lor-sinder Battlefleet, which is roughly the same size as the Abasha starfleet. We also have elements of the Lor-sinder fleet with us on our journey.

Unfortunately, we do not know anything about the enemies leadership. Their most likely location is on one of the protected inner worlds, where we could not get to them, just as our headquarters is on Galacus 6, which for those unsure, the the 6 planet from the beginning of the Goldilocks zone which is Galacus Hemeshe.

Before you ask, yes, we were told that our Headquarters was on the fourth planet, Galacus Triarin, however they were forced to move when the Slinkar overran the defenses and killed half of the 15th Army Groups command structure. What remained, as well as the unaffected command outfits were transferred to the Abasha Starfleets headquarters on Galacus Hemeshe.

This isnt even the best part yet. We are tasked with retaking the former Morey Headquarters on Galacus Triarin. By many accounts it a god damned suicide mission as the Slinkar, by all intel reports, have at least one division of 15,000 insects there plus air support from the nearby spaceport. We'll have three broods totaling less than 3500 women and practically no air support as the fleet will be busy (hopefully) wrecking the Slinkars forces in orbit.

Thats the update. I know it seems like we are walking into the clutches of death in this mission, but we have a job to do. Do this not from that crazy bitch Karista, but for Ala-Shar. the one i am happy to call mother.'

You sign off the connection and monitor the progress of the information as it is received by your sisters. You detect no faults in the system.

You talk with Ari about it.

"We need to be vigilant. That is a doozy of a mission. Ari says, sounding slightly scared.

You reach out and touch her arm. "Dont worry, i'll have your back. We can defeat a few thousand bugs" You smile, trying to sound more confident than you feel.

Ari returns your smile, putting her hand on yours. "Thanks. I lost by second in command to a Slinkar plasma burst when she tried to protect me. Every time i look at you, I see her." She starts to tear up.

You pull her into you and cuddle her. "Shhhh, shhhh, I wont go the same way. We'll be ready for them. You helped prepare us, remember?".

She smiles.

You site like that for a long time. Before you know it, you have both fallen asleep on her bed.
