Look at it this way. I don't assume I'm right. In fact, I always try to consider the possibility I'm wrong.

Even if I'm 99% sure that the other possible lynchee is town, a 1% chance of lynching scum is better than a 0%. (referring to lynching him versus lynching myself, not lynching him versus a no-lynch)
