Really? They go through a focused training? And they don't start as pages?

Because, I mean...you don't out a six year old through intense training. You teach him discipline, faith, and obedience, so that he can be trained.

In real life, IIRC, kids were pages from seven until around fourteen, then squires until about 21, and then they went and had to do something special and prove themselves a knight.

But with magic and all, it could be very different.

The teachings of discipline, faith, and such are parts of that training, keep in mind this isn't strict Knighthood, its based quite heavily on the real life Knighthood but its warped slightly by the setting and such.

Some minor questions: Is the drakeling sort of a dragon? How long does it take to mature? Will I be able to gain the Beastly Visage Blessing later on?

1) A drakeling is a drake, its in a sense a flightless dragon. Later on it'll be able to fly or glide for short periods of time, but drakes are never able to achieve true flight (in most cases.)

2) The drakeling you would start out would eight to nine years old, so it'd take a year or two more for it to mature though it is possible to shorten the time it will take to grow into a full drake.

3) Yes you can gain that visage later on if you wish, the God of Life just needs to see fit to bless you with that level of a blessing.

Name: Andos Longarc
Age: Seventeen
Gender: Male

Bio: Andos was the son of a trapper who lived in the less civilized parts of the isles. From the first day he could walk to the day he left his home, he was taught that nothing could be earned without hard work and ambition (a strange lesson, coming from a man who had never even walked into a city, though he did not point that out), and that pragmatism was the most efficient way to get the hard work done. He hunted throughout his youth, and became an excellent shot over the years, while growing a strong sense of independence as he spent less and less time with his family.

When he was roughly twelve, he dreamed for six consecutive nights about a great inferno falling from the sky and engulfing the forests around him. On the seventh day, he convinced his family to go sell furs earlier than usual in the season by pleading and harassing until they accepted, and on the seventh night, a great fire burned down the woods and his parents' home. Although they had been saved, they were now left without a livelihood. After a short time of deliberation, it was decided that his father (who only had enough money to buy passage for two) would leave with his mother to find new lands in another island, while he would attempt to become a squire. He joined the only order which could use an archer: the Farseers.

Although he was never completely in accordance with some of the teachings of the Order, he did adopt Miser as his patron god - believing that while life had already been granted to him, death could yet be granted to any who would call himself his enemy. Terrifying with a bow, he quickly gained the favor of the Order's authorities, to the point where he was blessed at the age of sixteen and became Sir Yalmer's squire at the age of seventeen.

Knight Order: The Farseers (Blessed Yew Greatbow, Skilled Archer, Premonitions)
Divine Blessing: Hawkeye
God: Miser, God of Death

Rolepgeek, Errol, and Shootandrun your sheets are accepted, as for the rest I'm still deciding who else to accept as the last three characters.

Do I not get a character sheet, then? :p

Also, when doing colors like lime or yellow, put a black Glow around them.

Nah your Bracer of the Yew Tree was fine, I meant the ability that comes after on the Benefits lift. That ones your choice as well.
