The Knight Orders are the various factions of the Knighthood, all aligned with different beliefs that they follow and styles they use in battle or real life by which all others can recognize them. The Knight Orders are powerful factions within the Kingdom of the Seven Isles, their power only surpassed by the Court of Seven and the King himself. All squires choose a Knight Order to follow in the second stage of their training as it determines the path they will follow in battle, life, and study.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Order of the Blade: The Order of the Blade is the smallest Knight Order in existence within the Kingdom of the Seven Isles, they believe in skill with the blade above all else for it is the way with which they protect that which they must. Those of the Order of the Blade are unrivaled soldiers afoot, where they carve a path through their foes a mountain of corpses will form for the Order of the Blade deems those who endanger the innocent irredeemable thus they must be cut from the world. Those of this Order are masters of combat but also skilled diplomats for in battle all those who die leave innocent people in harm.
For those that follow this Order upon their naming day (your fourteenth birthday) they are given a sword made to the warrior's desires and made of steel blessed by priests of the Gods of Justice and War. These blades are nigh unbreakable, and they cut through other metals like paper, this blade and the symbol of the order (three swords crossed with a eye above them) are what the people know the Order of the Blade by.

Their Knights have sworn themselves to protecting the people of the Seven Isles no matter the cost, and the Sun Bearers are the reason for the fall of the Tyrant King Ramus during his reign one-hundred and twelve years ago. The Sun Bearers try to aim all their actions at benefiting the people of the Seven Isles and as thus they also are among some of the greater scholars in the entirety of the Kingdom.
The Knights of this Order are not only peace keepers and scholars of course, they are like all other Orders masters of battle as well. Those of this Order upon their naming day are given a shield blessed by the Priests of the God of Justice, for they are the shield of the people. These shields are truly impossible to destroy, only two beings have ever managed to shatter shields of the Sun Bearers and they were both Demon Kings, beings who rivaled the power of Gods. This shield, and their symbol (simply a blood red sun) are what the people of the Seven Isles know the Order by as well as their kindness.

For centuries the Seven Isles have been under constant threat, and near constant war with only around two decades of peace in all that war, for this reason the Apostles of War were founded from the original Knighthood. In battle they show no mercy, those of this Order can be seen in battle alone or in small groups of their fellow Apostles as they slay hundreds in an effort to end the endless war.
Those of this Order are, upon their first naming day, given a weapon forged from firesteel and blessed by the priests of the God of War. This weapon that brings death to all the Order's enemies, and the pure white skull are the symbols of this Order. The people of the Seven Isles fear them, and yet respect them the most of all Orders for the sacrifices they give trying to free the Isles from war.

Raised for WarHarbingers: The Harbingers are an Order dedicated to war, similar to the Apostles of War they are raised from birth for war but their teachings are half about war and half about the art of divine healing. Masters of medicine and skilled warriors, the Harbingers are responsible for saving many a mans life as well as taking them. They believe heavily in the teachings of the God of Life, and agree that all beings (except for demons and monsters) have a right to live no matter what others say, however they also have the right to die for foolishness. The Harbingers strike fear into the hearts of enemies, and bring hope to their allies.
Upon their naming day those of this order are given a special token that allows them to draw upon the powers of the God of Life and that of Nature so long as the God of Life gives them the blessing to. Those of this Order are respected highly and are not given the same fear that Apostles of War commonly garner.

Those of this Order are master marksman who have been gifted unique powers by the God of Death, the Knights of this Order are considered to be on the edge between life and death for all the Knights in the Order have been touched directly by the God of Death himself. This experience has given them the gifts they needed to become a truly accepted Knight Order and as thus they have grown to become the third most powerful of the five Orders. Though the God of Death gifts the Farseers with their unique power it is the God of Life that blesses their weapons.
The God of Life blesses the weapons of the Farseers for she considers them the closest link between nature and the Knights who are like a race of semi-divine beings that rest between humanity and divinity. Upon their naming day the members of this Order are given a bow carved from the wood of a yew and blessed by the priests of the God of Life so as to make them weapons to be reckoned with. Those of this Order are considered oddities by the people of the Isles.

The Order-less: Those Knights who have forsaken their orders, or been cast out for some great crime are branded this. Upon their brow an triangle enclosing an eye is branded displaying to all they meet that they are an out cast, the Order-less are denied entry into all villages or castles (at least those that dare deny a Knight even an order-less one). In times of war the Order-less come from their homes deep in the wilderness, away from the hunts for demons and monsters they do in their exile, and find work as a mercenary among the army. Some say they fear the Order-less more then they do any other Knight for they are bound by no laws.
