Objection!
Afterward s, every player can raise his bet at any point he wishes to do so by any amount he wishes to. A player doesn’t need to place a bet to remain in the game, nor does a player need to bet as much as the currently highest bet.
We only have to match it if you call for a forced bet!

Let's get this party started, i will buy a nuke.

I'm going to bring this up to two nukes.

" How dare you take such aggressive action when clearly the monarchy of panspacia has right to this territory?!"

I am going to place 10 military, 3 spies, and 5 allied countries. This brings the bet to 44.

Panspacia brings the full might of it's military to bear, demanding surrender of any and all allied forces. It also sows spies into the local government, and calls for international support of it's claim.

"Hmmm. They are this overt then, Belitsky?" the Beneficent One asked of his friend. "Indeed, Glorious Leader. They know little of subtlety."
"Then we shall show them, comrade. We shall show them."

5 countries. 5 economies. 5 spies. Total: 50.

Irregardless isn't a word.

I'm also interested.
Its a word, though an unwieldily and much argued one. Just use regardless instead.

I glanced over the OP. A bit complicated for me to play on the forums (numbers just fry me head when I look at them on these boards) but I'll sure as all hell have fun watching!

I'm gonna start with that on my turn unless Ghazkul makes a forced bet or something like that.

Or fold.  I should have said or fold.

I marked it above in the green bold area in the quote.

Actually, I may have read that wrong, as it has two meanings.

One can be that the next player must bid more than the last.

The other would be that the first person must bid five points exactly.  Then the next player can bid any number of points above or equal to five points.

It may be either, it is up to the gm for that.

Marked the correct interpretation. Please excuse the unclear wording.

@Emral282: Another thing it seems I need to clear up. There is no turn order except for the blinds. Feel free to bet and/or discuss whenever you feel like it.

Current bets

A word of advice: Just because the limits can be rather high doesnt that they are. I will warn you only this one time, you are nearing a catastroph already. ;)

Oh REALLY now...
Gonna edit my bet in this post in a bit.
Edit:
First off, I will bet 2 economies.
Secondly, I will propose a way to split the pot:
PFDRSD: 2 Countries, 2 Militaries, 1 Spy
Texas: 3 Countries, 2 Economies
Panspacia: 2 Countries, 4 Militaries, 1 Spy
Slavia: 2 Countries, 5 Economies, 2 Spies
Friegard: 1 Country, 2 Militaries, 1 Spy
Eurocorp: 8 Countries, 5 Economies, 1 Nuke
Thirdly, If this proposal does not pass, I will make a nuke, 3 spies, a military, go all in, and call a forced bid.
So do you want to cut your loses or risk nuclear war~
Edit Edit:
Addendum: Of course, I will be willing to altar the proposal in case someone folds.

Panspacia: 2 Countries, 4 Militaries, 1 Spy

Unnacceptable! I will not pull back and allow you to profit from what is rightfully mine. I will fold with what i came in with and no less.

Thirdly, If this proposal does not pass, I will make a nuke, 3 spies, a military, go all in, and call a forced bid.

I will not allow you to try to strongarm the monarchy of panspacia. Be prepared to meet the entirety of my forces if you attempt this.

(also, you cannot make anything until the next turn, as you've placed a bid.)

(Really? Didn't see anything in the rules about that. If that's really the case I build those things before making the bet.
Also is that a fold-fold where I have to remake my proposal or are you staying in?
Because if you're not folding I'm not budging. It's that proposal or everyone in dies.)
Edit: Thanks for the rule clarifaction

What you came in with would mean that others lose due to the nature of military bids.

I will not allow you to try to strongarm the monarchy of panspacia. Be prepared to meet the entirety of my forces if you attempt this.
Having you bring out the entirety of your forces is the whole point of a forced bid. No matter what you will not gain back what you put in, all you can do now is choose how much you lose. You can accept and regain some losses, fold and lose nothing else, or reject and lose everything.

Actually all buys are supposed to be made before the first bet but I admit that this rule is ill suited for playing in a forum.
Therefore all buys need to be made before your own first bet.
I will consider your things bought Emral.

At best, it's a colloquialism.

Actually all buys are supposed to be made before the first bet but I admit that this rule is ill suited for playing in a forum.
How about this: between rounds, we get about 1 day (let's say until 12:00 GMT the next day) to buy stuff, you can change your purchase as much as you want, but the last order you had before it's the next round stays. After purchasing ends people can start betting.

spread those 4 of those 8 countries around between the people you didn't give enough to (namely Friegard and me), and you'll have my (and my nuclear arsneal's) support. Hell, you can even keep my 2 militaries as a trophy.
