rather than go inside the tower, go to just a little outside each of its exits and check to see if i can find anything there to let me catch a trail.

For Feyri:
Go to the sword's gangway and remove several of the cameras we placed there. move them to be able to watch the other ships. for flying-wall-cutting-break-in-attempts.
Quote from: Feyri to steve
Do these other ships need to have functional com systems? right now they're a security risk. Anyway, could you keep an eye on these cameras I'm placing to make sure the SW doesn't break into the ships?

It is encrusted with sharkmist and HMRC. On the item is an image of HMRC and Pancaek. Pancaek is laughing. The HMRC is melting. The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

Lars twitches a bit.  It's looking at him.

If Morul fails to disable the bot, put a round in it myself.

((I solemnly swear that I won't eat you until I've devoured my first planet.))

((Oh god, I helped create a monster. Then again, it's just too much fun not to really.

By the way, if you ever find out what your capabilities are exactly, be sure to look into custom-growing equipment for teammates. Like a bug that attaches to a person and pumps 'em full of drugs when needed. Or grow form-fitting chitin-bone-keratin armor with shock-absorbing soft tissue material underneath, add custom features (Claws, specific protection against certain damage types (heat, electric etc.) as needed.
Or hell, go for a whole suit, basically a new organism that lives in symbiosis with its wearer, providing protection/armor, a sort of powered exoskeleton (due to the suit/organism having muscle of itself to support its wearer's strength), mk.II style self-sealing properties and drug injection systems, with added bio-weapons (bonesword, acidsprayer, boneshard launcher, serrated claws, ...) as requested by the buyer (you might be able to ask some tokens for custom-growing equipment of course, then use these tokens to upgrade your capabilities).
And if done right, it may be able to self-repair too. The suit, in turn, interfaces with and is slaved to the wearer's nervous system and gains nourishment from either the user or internally stored biomass reserves.

And while we're at it, maybe try to grow a large battlesuit-style organism that is controlled by a pilot and has all of the above, coupled with whatever else you want to add (think pilotable Carnifex or Hive Tyrant (or go for a Hierophant if you're feeling silly).

Or, to think smaller again, weapons that create their own ammo as long as they're kept fed, like that boneshard launcher or maggot cannon from before, but without it integrated with a suit. Or hell, if you can bio-engineer virii then you can become a second Doc and create specific gene treatments to transform peeps into weird horrorspawns with abilities as you like it. Or just give people increased physical perfection and free gene therapies, whatever really.

Oh, and if GWG one day figures out how his pill machine works, and the effects are combinable with your stuff, then the options grow even more expansive. Think bio-computer hybrids, organisms that have AoW-like skin, whatever you can think of.

Really, the more I think about it, the more I realize the awesome possibilities are truly

endless...

(I'm starting to think PW, if he read all these rants, will be nerfing your powers greatly to keep game balance, otherwise we'll have an army of monsters runnin' round without the usual Doc Highlander-style thinning occurring).

And yes, I know all of this is very implausible from a hard sci-fi standpoint, but really, seeing how Xan's powers are already ridiculous and impossible to begin with, I'm willing to suspend my disbelief if it lets me experiment and think of new and creative xenohorrors.

Gorat looks after the ship. "Guess they bought some time, at least? Well, no idleness*. We're exploring this roof, if only to get back inside."

Explore the roof.
