Huh, in theory trees could be used to restrict the movement of flying creatures for choice effect.

Falling over and possibly landing on dwarfs sounds good, though not if the crushing happens too often, then it would just be a pain in the ass.  Maybe check with the RNG which direction the tree should fall, and have Woodcutter skill weight the not-towards-self possibilities.
