I highly suggest you wait to invade until the Ottoman's start having issues with the Arab's in their country wanting independence. Once they start making trouble and declaring war on each other, then it'll be a lot easier to march into Constantinople (TRUE NAME OF THE GLORIOUS GREEK CITY).

I agree.  My experience playing as the Ottomans confirms that once the Ottoman Empire starts breaking up, they probably won't have enough divisions to deal with everything.

Germany almost always threatens the Arab states in my Ottoman games, so I don't have much problems with a shortage of divisions.

Really? Most times I see the AI Ottoman Empire get ravaged by all of the Arab states revolting at once, although I've never personally played as them yet.

The revolts are easy to deal with, but Egypt and Hashemite Arabia have been a pain when the Germans didn't help me out. Kurdistan is probably the hardest revolter to deal with because of numerous fronts that open up, but the camel cavalry is good for picking off the VPs. To deal with Libya, all I've done was just research the amphibious landing techs and brute force my way to the VPs.

Of course, the AI is almost certainly unable to deal with Libya like that.

GIVE BACK BULGARIAN CLAY! REMOVE KEBAB FROM PREMISES!

In due time my friend... in due time..

September 30th, 1937

The 4th Balkan war is now diplomatically over, as all representatives of the losing side have met in Sofia to negotiate the new status of their former states. Graciously, King Boris has decided to restore the monarchies of the conquered states, in allegiance to the Bulgarian crown of course.

November 7th, 1937
Earlier last month, Germany mounted an amphibious assault on the communist stronghold that was Italy. Rapidly sweeping through the country, a German-friendly Italian government has been installed in Rome as German troops have begun to push into southern France.
Spoiler: Italy liberated! (click to show/hide)

December 11th, 1937
The 2nd American Civil War is now over. Other than the Pacific States and New England remaining independent (as well as partisan activity in South Carolina) Mexico retains a huge part of the southwest and the country is now run by a Dictatorship under President Douglas McArthur.

January 3rd, 1938
The Swedish minority in Finland has been staging protests demanding more rights and representation in a country ruled by a Finn-centric government, the Lapua government. Finland has naturally refused to grant the Finnish-Swedes any rights, leading to increasingly belligerent talk within the Swedish Riksdag. Germany has lent its support to the Finnish government, causing Sweden to back down.

January 12th, 1938
The Ukrainian Communists have incorporated Crimea into their state. They will no doubt be oppressed under the buffoon, Khrushchev's regime.

January 23rd, 1938
The French are proving to be no match for superior German firepower and are falling apart on all fronts but the border with Germany proper.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

---

And that leaves us at Feb. 7th, 1938. I'm not touching the Ottomans until they start to crack (and I'd still be hesitant then), but Ukraine is looking rather juicy. We should liberate their salo and horilka. Just a thought. Also, France looks like it's about dead... Germany will be unopposed in the world and syndicallism will be pretty much crushed... So I guess it's up to us to create conflict in the world somehow.

That a funny war: The Germans didn't attack the Maginot but went through Provence?

Anyway, go get Ukraine!
