We should build containment things under or in the mountain, though.
Agreed.

More power for me, muahahahaha!

I think what shoes and hats is trying to say can be translated to "please use my thread to play the game"
Although I have no idea what we're supposed to do apart from aimlessly argue and fuck everything up.
Wait until we actually have the admins to decide what's going on?

Could the researchers sub in for the admins just long enough to get a quorum?

In that case, someone build a shelter, someone get me a chair, dig some crap in the mountain, and let's get moving!

I've made my contribution as admin, does anyone else want to shuffle things around?

I suppose, though that still only puts us up to four site admins.

Oh, i said earlier that the locks should be digital keycard/passcode locks, to clarify the doors would require both an employee keycard and passcode, i would like to even go so far as having each keycard having different passcodes to work properly. I would also like to leave the possibility of an emergency protocol for containment breach, which would have the keycards cycle through three different emergency passwords rather than the standard passwords. (The needed password would change to the next in the sequence every time the keycard is used, this might prevent particularly observant SCP's from getting access throughout our facilities.

We should probably have a separate facility for particularly dangerous scps equipped with an onsite nuke.

Begin construction on a line of sensors half a mile from the base to detect any unwanted guests. Also begin drilling into the mountain.

Sounds good.

Very few SCP's are specifically designated for destruction, those are the ones we usually cannot destroy. An important priority of the Foundation is scientific advancement, we want to learn as much as we possibly can from and about the SCP's.

Also, trying to destroy SCPs can cause more issues than it could ever solve. Textbook case: That helpful former chair.

To me that seems incredibly stupid, likely to backfire, and will probably kill us all.
In other words, go for it.

Much more disturbing of an example? 231

The death of all personnel and destruction of the facility is often far preferable to letting what is inside outside. Nuclear detonation comes standard to most every site.
