what is the void?
View the all the universes as boxes on a 3d bookcase with space between them. Those spaces are the void. It the left over of the creation of reality, sort of like anti-matter, but instead of exploding when mix with reality, it just turns beings in to void beasts.
How big is the Void?
You know the idea that every action created a parallel universe where you took a different action?Yeah the Void is more or less infinite. However each universe 'box' is, depending on how rich the deposits of Void crystals, is about 10 kilometers(30 Hopples is closer to the average, but very few places use that unit) with the gaps between universe are half a mile(Again 57 Dappers are closer, but it a odd number and rarely use). Note that while the 'boxes' are uniform, the universes are not, ranging from a single solar system, like in Gaia, to separate universes in a single 'box' like in Overkill(Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha).
What about other voids?
Yes, void is a widely used name for anywhere odd. For what they are, they tend to fall in three categorys. The first category is things like Glass's (Warrens of Oric the Awesome) void, which is just a normal space within that reality and is nothing related to the void. The second category are border worlds like summoners's (league of legends) void which is a part of that universe that spilt off and is more expose to the void, leading to things closer to void beasts, however due to the exposure, these proto-void beasts are more resistant to the twisting of the void. The final category is in all cases is the same thing, a plane be on this one(Doctor who's void) something even we void guardians are clueless about.
