Asimov does nothing but give admins headaches. It's terrible in every way and needs ten thousand policies to make it playable. I'd prefer a corporate AI validhunting me than having to deal with 'AI bolted down security because i misclicked and harmbatoned in front of a cyborg'

-ninjaedit-

And corporate isn't even that different with the exception of the AI being more important than crew. You can't go around lelkilling traitors because they're expensive to replace. It has restrictions too.

I'd prefer any of the /tg/ lawsets over the Baycode default set.

Well, not any, but most of them, yeah.

We need a Dorf lawset.
1 Protect the booze
2 All invaders are to be creatively executed
3 Cats are to be eaten
4 Workers are useful, yet expendable.  Their lives may be sacrificed for the good of the station.

1. Adamantine is Valuable
2. Gold is valuable
3. Booze is valuable
4. Workers are valuable
5. Keep the station as rich as possible

DEAD: Jordyn Elderson says, "who is the ghost that died in his underpants?"
DEAD: ARMA-408 says, "Hector, most likely."
DEAD: ARMA-408 says, "He likes it when people watch."
DEAD: Jordyn Elderson says, "I want to know how he died"
DEAD: Hector Petridis says, "I'm an observer and I'll wear whatever I want."
DEAD: Hector Petridis says, "Be thankful there's no heart boxers yet."
DEAD: Jordyn Elderson says, "If only"
DEAD: Jordyn Elderson says, "you could have gone with nude"
DEAD: Hector Petridis says, "Heart boxers for life."
DEAD: Jordyn Elderson says, "agreed"

Dack, From your actions I really thought yup where gonna wipe me. I was going after you as the baylaw set for AIs says that the first job is to protect the station. After seeing you kill someone for no good reason, and still thinking you attempted to kill another, the only thing I could think to do to contain your destruction was to kill you.
I had to leave because of the late hour, and I accept your apology.

Although, I do still think that you arent the best for head positions, but whatever.

And Nien, what the FUCK is that.

Kinda hard to do your job when an AI wants you dead :p

Because traitors don't need replacing anyway right?

They do. If a traitor captain dies, you need to send in a new captain, which is even more expensive than cloning an old one.

A traitor captain can do immense damage. They have access to everything by default. You don't even have to think about illicit theoretical tech they may get ahold of later. They already have access and authority to be everywhere. Stopping them is a priority.

I'm not saying they don't. I'm just saying that even if you do have a traitor captain, he is still expensive to replace.

More expensive than the station and all its crew? The traitor captain has to be replaced anyway. You can't just leave them be.
