So exactly what are the parameters that causes the fly-man? Is it just random events while teleporting?

Pretty much, yeah. Really low chance while teleporting.

The AI did most of the work. The captain walks in, the AI turns the turrets on and stuns him. Then lethal. Hector runs in, pulls the dying captain out, and then gets flashed by me. I drag the captain off to the incinerator and chuck him down the disposal.

And then Janitor borg ganks Hector while he's down. Best plan ever. Also, that definitively explains a lot...

That round, the AI locked me in the mining station, and I couldn't figure out how to escape until five seconds before the game restarted. I'm sure you guys had fun, but that round sucked for me.

I was pretty sure both you and the AI were traitors at that point. What I didn't expect was the captain to be a traitor as well. No way I was gonna let him die down there anyway.

 :D We should have a Paranoia-themed round sometime. Complete with asshat AI with arbitrary rules and different clearance levels.
