I think I figured out the source of the crashes.

Hivebots.

More accurately, the stationCollision map (the one with a live facehugger), which is trying to call a var of one hivebot in the cage in the lab, that doesn't seem to exist... anywhere, anymore. Except one commented out definition in a unincluded file.

Since the code would only execute if the map was, in fact, loaded as a gateway map, and it definitely breaks things - in my case, handling monkeys, causing, indirectly, to break one of the MAIN CONTROLLERS.

BS12 does not have gateway awaymissions, so they don't execute the code that causes the runtimes. /tg/'s code is what it was written for, so I doubt they have any issues with it - if they even use it, I don't know.

We haven't been having MC crashes lately AFAIK.
Most of our recent mystery issues were related to things getting into the processing lists multiple times and thus going sanic fast.

Our most recent server-crashing apocalypse was caused by paprika not understanding how virusses worked, so they got doubled every tick when used with IV drips.

We also need a suit customizer in EVA. With finding out just how awesome the security cyro hardsuits look its hard to go back to normal ones.

Oh god I just ran a slaver event on Basil with like ten people on the server and it went horribly yet hilariously.
They planted a bomb on the AI, one of the slavers got blown up, two dudes hijacked the syndicate shuttle and the remaining slaver tried to use the emergency shuttle instead, he got dunked and then the three remaining crewmembers murdered the pirate mobs i spawned at centcomm.

Right now Baycode has a thing called, "Suit Cycler" which modify hardsuits into Unathi/ Tajaran / Skrell mode, now since the cryo hardsuits are Urist exclusive, obviously the suit cyclers don't do that, but i can probably get to work on it.

They do it, the cant do the normal hardsuits though.

Really, go in as a miner, customize one of the mining hardsuits, and get the cyro version instead.


You know, we really should create syndicate versions of the hardsuits, which are like station ones but have some weird defect somewhere, and let the syndies try to blend in.

At the same time, we need a suit customizer in the EVA wing. Because normal hardsuits just dont cut it for me now...

Also, we need medical and science cyro variants.
