So I played one and a half round on BS12 today, and during the full one I ended up being brigged. And HOLY SHIT WE NEED BAYBRIG SO HARD. It's just so much better to be imprisoned there it's not even funny. It's set up so that the cells open on one side to the normal Sec side, and on the other to a our-perma-style courtyard with a small kitchen and a visiting zone on top of what we have in perma.

I've probably spent a full hour imprisoned in there, and even discounting my escape attempts (durn cultbuddies, including cultHoS didn't do shit to help) it was approximately ten times as long as I could last in a regular 3x3 cell before I would start walking up walls. Hell, I even ended up making myself a chanterelle soup.

More seriously, assistants are great for learning the absolute basics, especially if you can get someone else to show you around. Past that, if you'd like to do something a little more advanced but still without pressure, bartender/chef works great. Finally, if you want to play a bit more of a useful role, but still want something sorta easy, roboticist isn't hard and can contribute a lot more to the station than an assistant or a bartender would.

Play as a cargo tech, its a semi-useful job and gives enough free time, plus it drags you around the station.

Good luck with the event. Or atleast the rest of it. Perhaps you can salvage something.

May less morons actively try to kill themselves by voiding the entire fucking outpost when you try to make it one tile wider, then other assholes come along and fuck it up even more.
