Uploading silly, harmless little things is fun,  sure. Fucking up the whole station and randomly assaulting people just for the sake of pissing them off isn't funny, and it's the kind of thing I had to put up with when I played sec.

EDIT: For some reason my phone felt the need to change "pissing" to "pussies"

Yes, there is an update on the way. There's a lot of stuff here.

Q: So, what the fuck is in this update?

A: So much shit, I don't even remember all of it. Basically everything that has been done since mid August or so. Highlights include a metric ton of map changes/fixes/visual improvements (I spent a ton of time going through maintenance and adding variety to the tiles in there. I did this to some other areas too, it's the little things that count. I also fixed every single map issue known to man. There's also some new areas added, I added some under construction areas near atmospherics, that's where the workshops for the two jobs related to the jungle will go when I get back on that), new and improved arrivals shuttle (if you join late, you have to take the shuttle from a new transit area in CentComm to the station), some more alternate outfits for jobs, a bunch of new clothes, some new things to be made out of wood, some new papercraft things, AOOC, a whole new gamemode, some new crates to be ordered from cargo, some new alternate job titles and specific stuff for them, some new starting accessories, some new vanity items, a remapped nuke ops area (plus some new masks...), the HHG, breaking news, some new mutiny directives, riot armour got buffed a tad, and a metric ton of bugfixes.

And then there's the stuff from BS12, there's a lot of shit there too.

Q: Wow, sounds like a lot. But why the fuck did it take this long for an update?

A: Short answer, blame BS12. Long answer, normally BS12 merges their dev to their master at the beginning of the month, and I merge BS12 about halfway through the month so they have time to fix bugs they missed in testing. However, in August they ran really late and didn't merge their dev > master until mid September. So, I just merged it recently, and now we can have an update. I didn't want to get Vactor to update just for the Urist stuff, because there was a lot of bugfixes in the merge that were important, and I also thought that BS12 would merge sooner than they did so I held off  :-\

Q: So will it take that long for the next update?

A: Nope, there will probably be another small update next week or so with some bugfixes and some small things I want to add. After that, it'll be time to merge BS12 again.

Q: Oh, what about that jungle shit you were talking about?

A: It's on hold for now while I get sprites for mobs. Everything's pretty much done except for the stuff for the hunter. I can't really give an ETA, sorry.

Q: Okay, when will we get our hands on this update then?

A: I just asked Vactor to update, so any time over the next couple days most likely.

Q: Kay.

A: Yup.
