Is there a place to read all of the new features and stuff?
See, uh, the thing is... that's virtually impossible. The basics are, in essence, the same. Meaning the same 2Dspessmen, same station (well, maps aside), same jobs (now that tg got Psychologist), HOWEVER. Details vary, and there's a myriad of little things.
Plus some major stuff - notably, on both codebases the Engine is different completely different, Virology is completely different in the mechanics, Medical system is much more, uh, Fun, in the DF sense (it takes in accounts internal organs and bleeding, including internal bleeding), there are new gamemodes, you can play as alien races (different depending on the which codebase we use), you have WAYYYYY more character slots...
Seriously, tons of everything.

Roman sheilds can now be bashed with spears.
Sprited old hats that never had sprites. Bowler hat, beaver hat, boater hat, fedora, and a fez.

Ghosts can click on posibrains or the sign up link to register for being a posibrain. Golem runes and pAIs work in a similar fashion.
Plant pods now spawn Dionae.
Clicking on a standing human, alien, or monkey will allow you to hug them. Can spread diseases and trigger farts.
Added Atmospherics Automation Console, which allows basic automation of many atmospherics-related systems, such as injectors, vent pumps, and digital valves. Uses a visual scripting language.
Display case can now be opened with the captain's ID, setting the fingerprint (empty hand), and using the fingerprint (empty hand). After the gun is out, you can insert a new item, and lock the display case by swiping your ID. Breaking it requires harm intent, otherwise it's the same as the old display case.
Display cases are constructable by using a glass sheet on an empty machine frame, then inserting airlock controller board and screwdrivering it. Permissions set on airlock controller will be set on the display case.
Injector flow rate is now controllable from General Air Control consoles.
Added planning frame to RD's office. Allows you to plan out a lawset by inserting boards into it, examine to preview, right-click > dry run to check for common mistakes. Runs all laws at once when inserted an upload.
Clicking on the name of a design in a circuit imprinter or protolathe will build it immediately.
Genetics has a vast new array of powers and disabilities, and nearly twice as many blocks to contend with.
Bartender and Detective now start off with the Sober gene.
People who fail to spawn with their items (e.g. fatties) will now get them in a plastic bag held in their hand.
Due to abuse, mice are now killed by tasers and other projectiles.
Magboots can be stored in Suit Storage Units.
Assistant jumpsuit is now fat-compatible.
Jumpsuits with missing sprites show up with an ugly black and purple checkerboard pattern.
Traitors should no longer be asked to steal things their job provides easy access to.
MoMMIs no longer drop their stunprods when emagged.

Having played on both, I recommend /vg/ over BS12 code - not only is /vg/ more polished, and taking features from both /tg/ and BS12, but most importantly, their playstyle is much closer to ours than BS12's, and as such the way features are implemented are more in line with our style as well.
