Here we go. It turns out Jack has a bit of a vengeful streak. Just a bit, though.

I think the concept of the 'slippery slope' is beginning to apply. First, you're just doing indirect murder by aiding a hired killer, then you're using magical sicknesses to kill a person who tried to cheat you, then you're killing people with guns in self-defense, then... you're orchestrating horrifying death curses that will kill dozens at the least. This city will go up in flames and anarchy soon enough, and I'll be laughing all the way.
